They made it as easy as moving can be, from the packers (Bernie and Shawna) to the movers (DeeAndre, DeeShawn, Matthew, and Christian), everything went to plan and arrived in one piece. Will use SC for my next move, 100%.

These guys were awesome! Not only were they prompt, thorough, and caring of all items, wrapping with blankets and plastic. This crew worked well together and were very kind, respectful, and easy to work with. Would 100% recommend.

This company is AMAZING! I called a moving company prior to this company and was treated very poorly. I then called this company and was immediately treated with kindness, respect and professionalism. The movers showed up early. They went over everything in detail. They were very fast and very trustworthy. They are a family owned business and I highly recommend them. Best and easiest move ever!

I hired SC Moving both to pack me and to move me, and they did an exceptional job on both days. Every single member of their team was extremely professional and took extreme care with my possessions. They were all American citizens, they read my handwritten notes and followed my detailed instructions, asking questions when needed. I had absolutely zero complaints and recommend them without any reservations.

We recently used SC Moving Services for an elderly relative’s move from Maine to Rhode Island. It happened to be the two hottest days of the year but service was still top notch, items were wrapped for protection and handled with care. Much patience was given in dealing with the elderly relative. I liked that the company was a local Maine Company. I will recommend SC Moving to all friends and family.

Great experience from initial contact to finished move. I looked on line. S. C. Movers appeared to be the best. I called and left a message. Owner returned the call promptly. I was able to find an open slot that fit. The owner was very obliging scheduling our move.
The moving crew of three men arrived on the specified date and on time. The crew was extremely professional and hardworking. They went right to the task of dissembling furniture and then removing these items, boxes and other assorted objects from our apartment to their truck. Once loaded the cargo was transported to our newly purchased home. Furniture was unloaded, carted inside and reassembled. When it was completed every item that had been entrusted to the movers arrived and in the same condition as it had been. All in all from start to finish this was a superb job by S. C. Movers. I would definitely use them again.

I offered to help my daughter in getting estimates for a local move. I went with SC due to the reasonable quote & the awesome reviews. Although I was not present during the move, my daughter said they did a wonderful job. The movers were polite, protected the furniture and moved all the heavy furniture less than two hours. The total amount was exactly what I was quoted. My daughter & I couldn't be happier and would definitely recommend SC Moving Services.

We just had the best moving experience ever!! A professional team of six was led by Chris they were courteous, fortunately quite strong, efficient yet quick, and functioned like a well oiled machine…all on a Saturday holiday weekend. There was no stress from beginning to end of a 6+ hour move. I would highly recommend SC Movers out of Portland Maine if you are looking for an affordable, smooth move where they treat your belongings like they were their own give them a call. Absolutely the best!

Couldn't have been more impressed with the packers and movers at SC Moving Services. Chris was an excellent communicator in answering my questions ahead of booking them and super responsive throughout the process. The packers and movers were smart, efficient, and took great care. It was especially helpful at a few junctures when they the packers suggested we leave something out from boxes for easy access (like felt pads for under our furniture at the new house) or the movers double checked certain things because they knew from their experience something I wasn't aware of. They also did a fantastic job of disassembling and quickly reassembling furniture.They were thoughtful and made this process as enjoyable and easy as moving could be. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic, exceptionally professional movers. Chris led his team with skill, efficiency, thoughtfulness, care and great service all around. They did an amazing job with a smile despite the pouring rain! The four man crew navigated some heavy furniture and tricky house configuration. They were eager to please and ensured we were satisfied with the move. We would highly recommend them and would look to use their services again! SC Moving handled a local move for my family recently and they did a really great job. The team was prompt and on time, they were professional and took time to wrap furniture, etc. to make sure nothing was damaged or broken. Great experience - I’d highly recommend them for a future moves.

The crew is phenomenal! They were upbeat, professional, and took extremely good care of each piece and the home. They carefully packed everything in storage and left me room for odds and ends. They were pleasant and extremely gracious. I will definitely recommend your company to anyone moving in the area. It was beyond my expectations!
