A very nice hidden beach. Everyone hears about pine point or old orchard. Try this place. The waves seemed go to possibly surf.

Nice beach. Soft sand and good waves for surfing. I love that you can rent a board. the snack shop and out houses let you settle in for a whole day at the beach.Restrooms: Several outhouses conveniently located.
Located on Prouts Neck, Scarborough Maine, Scarborough Beach State Park offers some of the best swimming, surfing and kayaking in New England with water temperatures in the high 60's throughout July and August.
Season passes may be purchased online and will be shipped to you within 3 business days of placing your order. Day passes must be purchased at the park.
