“I started working at Heidi's House in 2009, and though I am no longer a part of the full-time staff, Heidi's House is still like a second home to me. I have worked in a number of different childcare facilities, and I can confidently say that HH is among, if not THE very best. Heidi is an incredible person who will bend over backwards to help you and make you feel comfortable leaving your child in the care of her staff. She runs a tight ship and can come across as intimidating to some people, but she has the biggest heart of anybody I know. She always bases decisions on what is best for the children and families, and she cares deeply for her staff. The center is beautiful, clean, and follows NAEYC policies to ensure safety and well-being of the children. All of the teachers are well-educated and well-versed in all aspects of early childhood theory and policies. Heidi recognizes the power of knowledge and is constantly finding ways to bring in specialists and offer trainings for staff in order to support the diverse needs of all children enrolled.
