The absolute worst distribution center in the country. I receive weekly packages from FL. They normally take two days to get to Scarborough where they sit normally for at least 36-72 hours before they move. The worst part at least a third of my deliveries they send back out across the country somewhere else before they come back again and they deliver the second OR EVEN THIRD TIME sometimes. This place needs to be completely overhauled.

This place is a complete joke. I don’t think in the last 6 months I have gotten a SINGLE package delivered on time. My current package arrived Sunday night - went through all the other mail centers without issue or delay and once it arrives in Maine, it’s stuck for days! The people that work here must be so worthless at their jobs it’s very upsetting.

The leadership is failing at the Scarborough mail location. The automated system sucks. No one answers the phone when you have complaint about post man stealing your package. No one cares!!

I am absolutely appalled at this distribution center. I am a new small business, I ship all of my items with the correct labels and packaging and I have only been open for four months and this distribution center has lost over seven of my packages to my customers. My customers are all extremely upset, and I have to end up eating the costs and getting violations due to your negligence of handling packages. This facility needs to do better..

Where packages go to die. Every time I order something it moves along nicely and then this shitshow gets a hold of it and adds days to the delivery time.

Got screenshots of my packages coming into Maine for delivery but then they send it back out of Maine to NJ. WHO'S Being incompetent. And you wonder why postal prices are on the increase. Wasting all that time money gas transportation to have a package come out of Maine that's supposed to be delivered in Maine. 🤮🤮🤮🤮

I've just had another package vanish, and I can't get another one because it was a one of a kind vintage item, this really cool. Pathetic, there is no way to get a hold of anyone who works there either.

I live less than 1 hour from this distribution center. Tracking says my package made it all the way from California to Southern ME on 03/23 @ 1:18 pm. I was supposed to have my package from Amazon by today 03/25. My local post office says they don't know where it is because they haven't received it yet. Then finally tonight I get an email saying it's late with no reason why and estimated to arrive on Monday March 31st...8 days after arriving at the Southern ME distribution center....This USPS distribution center seriously sucks!

This has to be one of the worse postal centers ever. I have had packages sit there for three days. I have a package there now, the tracking number says I am getting today, not going to happen, it landed there there at 10:38 last night and is still sitting there. If we ran a business the way these idiots do, we would be bankrupt.

You all need to fix your machines or hire more competent people. This is crazy! EVERY time I get a package that has to go through southern maine distribution center it gets shipped back to the shipping center that shipped it to them or it sits there for days and days past expected delivery date with no tracking updates or gets sent to completely different towns up in northern maine. Which we have had to drive to MILO before just to pick up our packages! I can't stand it when I see that my packages have to go through southern maine distribution. Because I know that it won't be here on time or it's going to get sent out to east gish or back to the company that I ordered from all together! PLEASE FIX THIS FOR THE LOVE OF EVERYTHING HOLY!!!
