When you go to the post office to drop something off, they are basically nice people. The only problem is that they don't deliver the mail. A bit of a problem when one is waiting for their medication and they are out.

If I could give a zero star rating I would. Most unhelpful unkind experience.

Phone system, nobody picked up. The 2nd. call was picked up and then hung up. ? ? A real business wouldn't put up with the incompetents !

Jesse is the rudest employee I have ever come across anywhere ever. I avoid this post office completely because every single time he makes up a problem. Even the other employees apologize about him because he is that rude to every single customer that walks in. He should not be dealing with the public.

First and formost the phone system is designed specifically to not answer any question. It's second job is to make sure you can never speak to a human. Thank you for providing absolutely nothing,
typical government agency.

They claimed to have delivered my package when the mail carrier clearly did not, or delivered it to some different address, i checked with all my neighbors and nothing, and we have a camera installed and my package was never delivered yet scanned in saying it was. Thanks usps for losing me 200$ 🙂

2/27/25 Jesse wouldn't let my father pick up my mail!! It clearly states on the USPS website that you can pick up someone else's mail with a permission slip and ID (which he had). Not happy. Poor customer service, IMO. I included a screenshot of the USPS website where it states you can pick up someone else's mail.

What is going on? I have received mail once a week for the past three weeks. I have informed delivery and none of the mail is getting to my home. Important tax information in Mail as well!

It’s really sad my hometown postal service is just so bad rn. I’m sure they’re understaffed so delays are to be expected. But they flat out lose packages of mine now. 3 that should have been delivered first week of December and now another to start the new year. I don’t live in the total sticks, this town isn’t “nowhere”. It’s one of the best places in the world to live imo so it’s really nuts they’re so bad here.
They’ll just keep the package with the carrier (different people than the post office itself apparently) which I can’t pick up packages directly from or speak to bc “someone ruined it”. That and/or they’ll just send it back with no communication, signature required or not. One day it said delivery attempted and I kid you not I was working from home and looking out the window for the truck bc it was such an important delivery.
When I go to the post office the little man is so flippant and blaming everything else instead of just getting an answer to where my package is and arranging a solution. I don’t care why dude, I’m here about the how my guy. Even Amazon seemed flustered after they got off the phone with them suddenly being more apologetic and sending me new packages immediately. The greater post office phone and app services have no more information bc they’re fed by the local branches.
It’s a real crap feeling tbh. I feel shame for the town I grew up and a little helpless not knowing if I’ll get important packages or not and I try to get everything sent ups or fed ex if possible.

SUCH A BAD EXPERIENCE! Lived in Scarborough for almost 2 years and constant issues with the post office. I get informed delivery and almost always what I am expecting does not get delivered. No mail for days on end then the mail delivery person puts in the wrong box! I have a huge permanent sign on my mailbox which has my name. Have contacted USPS at least 10 times and nothing is improving. What on earth is going on? This is almost comical. Do Better Scarborough.

I’ve always had great experiences at this post office. I tend to go around opening or closing hours; service is prompt. The employees I’ve met have been very courteous, professional, and helpful in mailing packages.

20% (consistently) of my letters straight up get lost or stolen before delivery even when informed delivery says they're going to arrive. Weirdly it's never the bills or packages with tracking it's always the envelopes that have something of value inside. I'm probably down a couple hundred dollars this year alone ?
