Scott at auto services sucks! His attitude is not friendly and not helpful one bit. I asked to get 2 new tires and his first words is "nope". I didn't even get a "hey, what can I help you out with today". They still have 1 more hour of working. 2 cars are being worked on by one guy while he just sits there. Smh never coming back to this place again. Thank you Scott.

I was so disappointed when we went to the Scarborough Walmart. They were very low in their inventory. They already had Christmas decorations going up! Ugh. There wasn't anything in law and garden! No dirt, plants nothing!! I was so discussed with them I will not go again!! It was just so disarray! Time to change and fix it up!!!

This Walmart is horrible. Management was rude and do not treat people with any form of decency. I wish I would have caught the managers name that was a complete monster to deal with. What a hassle. He should be fired.

This store has a SERIOUS problem with theft. Every time I come here to shop, every aisle has opened products or sets with missing pieces or damaged packaging. There have been many times I wanted to purchase something, but couldn't because there weren't any that hadn't been tampered with and left on the shelves. I've seen people testing the cosmetics, I've seen diaper boxes ripped open and stolen, I've seen face creams opened and used and someone actually using deodorant in the aisle and putting it back. The staff here were notified and don't care. Neither does the manager of this store. This store also never has anything in stock. Things you would expect Walmart to carry. Like children's rain jackets, sun hats or snow suits. Good thing there's Amazon.

I never thought I'd write a four star review for Walmart, but they have been improving! We go way back (see all of my previous reviews, from snarky to sincere.) I just bought a 12 pack of Made in the USA(!!!) cotton socks for $7.00 on clearance. It's very hard to find socks that are mostly cotton these days, let alone made in the USA, and for 58 cents a pair?! I have discovered new-to-me healthy food made by small businesses not sold elsewhere locally, like gluten-free almond/cashew bread (frozen section) that has no artificial additives or gums. Here are some staples my fiance and I buy, compared to a local competitor: Teddie Peanut Butter 16 oz: Hannaford: $3.39 Walmart: $2.48 Newman's Organics Pasta Sauce: Hannaford: $3.99 Walmart: $2.88 Dole Mandarin Oranges: Hannaford: $3.19 Walmart: $2.92 Westsoy Organic Unsweetened Soymilk 64 oz Hannaford: $4.49 Walmart: $3.98 Polaner All Fruit: Hannaford: $2.39 Walmart: $1.98 When added up over the course of one year, we're saving about $500 on regular purchases. They have a nice selection of organic fruits and veggies. I've been able to get really good bagged organic apples there on a regular basis. When they were in season, I got bagged organic peaches that cost far less than other places. Finally, they have just completed a bit of a remodel. The floors are newly polished and they have somewhat better signage. It's very clean. I still do most of my shopping at Whole Foods/Amazon and locally owned places (like the farmer's market!), but Walmart is a great addition. Tips: The online prices are sometimes higher than in-store, like the Teddie peanut butter as an example. There is generally no one available to help you find what you're looking for, so you may have to walk down each food aisle the first time you go. I discovered this was a good thing because it's how I discovered new-to-me organic and gluten-free items. Overall customer service in the store is lacking, but once you know what you are getting it's not an issue, generally.

I went to use my ANDROID PAY app last night but, unlike other major stores, WALMART only takes their WALMART PAY. I wasn't able to set up my card on their app because I didn't have it with me. I wasn't able to purchase most of what I was buying and some poor employee had to put all that stuff away. Walmart lost out on over $100 in purchases and I'm going somewhere else to shop.

On 12/16/17 I was shopping at WalMart in Scarborough, Maine. At checkout the very nice (and good looking) young man who rang up and bagged my purchases wished me a Merry Christmas. I think perhaps he took a moment to say that because I had a Santa pin on my coat lapel, and because he was a friendly soul. I wished him the same and then we both burst into a bit of a giggle, because I at that moment I saw his name tag, which read "Mohammed." It was such a sweet and silly little experience. I thought it was so nice that he felt comfortable wishing me a Merry Christmas. It was sweet that we could both laugh at my faux pas in wishing him the same. This little encounter gives me hope that we can all live together in peace.

I've been to a looooooooooot of Walmarts and I think this is a prime example. Lowe's was just about all sold out of Christmas lights but this store has tons! The entire garden center is converted into a heated space for wrapping paper, Xmas lights, decorations, etc. I came in today and asked for some replacement incandescent bulbs for my old lights and they don't sell them anymore. The nice lady at the checkout counter went to the bulbs, pulled out a new box and showed me the replacement bulbs it came with. She said "are you looking for these"? I said yes and she just handed me the bulbs! She threw the bulbs into the "return" buggy and I went on my Merry way! Very impressed in the customer service today.

Well let's see how many stars THIS Walmart deserves. I will start off at 5 stars for the stellar super duper hard working always pleasant cashiers.. Some of the cashiers I like so much I will actually wait in the longest line or skip an empty line just to say hello. Minus one star for the idiotic idea of putting displays in the center of the damn aisles so carts are running over kids, wheel chairs are playing bumper cats, old ladies are being buried under displays knocked over by pooches that one store manager decided he didn't want riding around in the carts out of the way of foot traffic. Speaking of which there is a self cancelling star RIGHT there. One star for being dog friendly, minus one for forcing ankle dogs to try to walk thru walmart rather than ride on a pillow in the cart. Because if anyone is IDIOTIC enough to eat something directly off the shelf, then tossed in the cart, pushed around with a few dozen other groceries, touched by shoppers, you, the black belt at check out, the cashier, and yes finally the bag- my God if you aren't going to clean that piece of fruit or cook that veggie or meat prior to eating heaven help you a few dog hairs are the least of your concerns. But one more star for the fact that every other employee greets my dog by name and allows me to open the dog treat then pay for it at check out. So we are back to 4 stars. Minus TWO stars for the ROYAL PAIN IN THE A-- that is customer service is to visit. You stand in line. You're either there for a simple money order or check cashing... Or you are one of the people who has to return every damn thing you buy, or the unlucky few with one item that really does need to be returned. But all these people must stand in the same line and that is BS first of all. 2nd and even more BS thing is that you do not feel you can ask questions like AM I IN THE RIGHT PLACE? Cuz if u do the line will actually move slower with MORE attitude and more breaks taken to discuss personal crap amongst employees. It is seriously the most pathetic excuse for customer care I have ever seen. Take another star. We are down to one. Well I'll add one back for the awesome auto section employees.. but that is it. That's how bad customer service is.

Krista in customer service at Walmart Scarborough is awesome! We had a difficult return situation and she was friendly, patient and super helpful. Honestly, it's the best experience and service we've ever had at this store.
