I hadn't been in this dollar tree for a while. It was before the items that cost more than $1.25 were added. I'm not completely on board with that change. It's nice to have more options, but at the same time, I don't like that I have to now check each items price when before I knew each item was a buck, now a buck and a quarter. That's one of the reasons I loved shopping at the dollar tree. If I wanted more options at a higher price, I would have gone to the dollar general or family dollar. Now, the dollar tree is just about the same as the other 2. So what makes me want to go there, specifically when I could just go to the other 2 and have even more options ? They also have dollar items, not $1.25 either. The dollar tree used to stand out to me and drew me in with the idea that everything I saw was a dollar. Then inflation happened to make it $1.25, but at least everything was that same price. Also, I noticed some things that I could have gotten f or a dollar is now priced at $3, it seems that way to me anyway. Or I could just be sour about this change, idk.

Everything here has something wrong with it.
Dollar Tree specializes in: out of specification, outdated, contaminated, overstocked, discontinued, overpriced (50 cent items sold for a dollar-twenty-five), improperly labelled / unlawful, low quality, and damaged products. Everything I have ever bought here fits one or more of these categories.

Dollar Tree is always a nice and always has something I need. Clean, organized. And they have a bathroom...always a plus.

Great prices on many items that are now overpriced in other stores. Bought 6 meals, some snacks for 14 follars..... and this location has a very friendly staff.

Dollar tree in skowhegan has a variety of different items that are all $1.25 each. You can find many excellent deals here. Especially on big bag popped buttered popcorn, candy, cleaning supplies, and cards. Stock varies at times depending on what they can get in which is why sometimes they have other items far more valuable than usual. They also have an excellent selection of cleaning supplies and soaps. Sometimes they get in really nice brand cheap bottles of soap which is always a plus. Overall the store is clean, good place to get snacks, and occassionally other needs. My only complaint is this: they used to sell cheap but regular size brooms. I wish I could easily buy a broom here because even though they were cheap, they last quite awhile if you take care of them. Excellent store overall.

Went in this past Saturday night and was very impressed by how clean and tidy the store was. The gentlemen working that night did a wonderful job keeping things organized and the cashier had a good attitude as well.This store has come a long way since being under new management and it should be recognized that they take pride in the store's appearance as well as how the shopping experience goes. The later hours make it super convenient for those who work later and the selection of products has improved tremendously over the past few years.They also offer bags for your purchases which is a convenient plus that most stores lack.Another thing I like about this store is the growing selection of various products, especially the crafting and pet supplies. Also, the food stock has a lot to choose from with unique products you can't find at other stores. Healthy options are also available which is always a plus!Fantastic job to all who work here and continue to improve the store! Awesome management, wish more stores would follow that trend! ?
