I have known this store for a decade, and it consistently has issues with hygiene and sanitation.
The pharmacy however does well in some areas and poorly and others. For example, I can stand on a line for 20 minutes or longer just to pick up a prescription because they only have one person at the counter and no sense of urgency. However, once I get to the counter everything seems to go very smoothly and easily, which I actually appreciate.
So if you don't mind long lines, it's not so bad. I tend to be impatient so I'm not a fan.

People at Hannaford Pharmacy in Skowhegan are the best! Courteous, quick, easy to work with and all our vaccines done without pain and on time. Highly recommend.

Hannaford pharmacy helps the customers. Their calling system works great for our family. Refills also are convenient.

Some of the people who work there are beyond rude. I had a refill on a medication I need to treat an autoimmune disease. They said I didn’t. It says it’s good until next year. She said absolutely not and was so rude. I’m in debilitating pain, fever and so many other things with my disease flaring. I asked about my steroid to have that filled and she was short and rude. I understand they are busy, but at least be helpful.I work with the general public myself. If you work with people you need to have patience and respect. It’s common sense. If you choose to work at a pharmacy you know you’ll be working with sick people also. So, being considerate and helpful should be part of the job also. This pharmacy is just going downhill. The hannaford pharmacy in rumford is the most compassionate one I’ve ever been to.

The women who work there are always incredibly helpful and friendly—I would give them five stars.However, whoever is managing things is the reason I gave two stars. Even before the software change calling ahead for medication never worked in my favor. It doesn’t matter if I called ahead a few days or a week—when I go in my prescription hasn’t even been started. So what’s the point of calling it in when it would be just as fast to go in and ask for it to be filled as you shop? Not to mention they did zero training on the new software until the DAY OF it launching. So management prefers their team to learn on the job when handling people’s medication? Thinking of moving my pharmacy to Holland’s Variety.

The guy is really rude the gals are nice to customers. Not really sure what's wrong with the dude but every time I see em vary short and impatient. Does not make a customer feel comfortable with there services.
