413 North Avenue, SkowheganI have been going through Animal Medical Clinic for my livestock needs for the past two years. Dr. Jessica Matulis has been fantastic to work with, and any assistants she has brought along during farm visits have been great as well. The rates are reasonable, and Dr. Jess has always been excellent at communicating cost break points regarding diagnostic tests and medicine.
The patience and assistance I've received through the difficult learning curve regarding proper care for my sheep and cows has been exemplary. As much as I still have to learn, things would be significantly worse without her and the team's support. I highly recommend the Animal Medical Clinic in Skowhegan.
We also bring our cats there and they are both currently still alive lol

Bigelow Brewing Company
473 Bigelow Hill Rd, SkowheganWe recently spent an incredible Saturday afternoon at Bigelow Brewery. We enjoyed local beers and live music with friends and family. The atmosphere was relaxed and extremely welcoming. That said, I got a little carried away with my dancing and in the process lost my anniversary ring outside. This ring has tremendous sentimental value and I was devastated. I spoke with Zuzu and Jerzey who were working at the brewery that night and they couldn’t have been nicer. After closing they went outside, scoured the area and found the ring under a pile of leaves. We live in a time where people are untrusting and we often assume the worst in others. Zuzu and Jerzey’s caring, honesty and character is a shining example that people are inherently good. I can’t thank these two beautiful young ladies enough. Bigelow Brewery is a family business that represents old school values - please go visit them!

Somerset Animal Shelter
123 Middle Rd, SkowheganThe Somerset Animal shelter has some of the nicest peopleworking there, we adopted our new cat Sasquatch from here. They take such good care of the animals and you can tell they put the animals needs first. I will definitely continue to donate here and possibly foster a pet again.
