Downeast Energy provides excellent and professional service for fuel and propane needs. The associates make switching easy and offer combined billing for better rates. Their service people are kind, efficient, and knowledgeable, ensuring on-time delivery and quality work. Emergency calls solve problems with minimal disruption, and cleaning or service calls are handled helpfully. The company is highly recommended for all projects, with staff who keep customers informed. The puffin on the tank is a happy bonus.
service has changed since taken over by a big corporation. I liked the local Windham Maine office much better. I paid my over $800 bill and kept getting phone calls from Boston.
After posting the above I received an email explaining how sorry they were about this mix-up. Hopefully, moving forward things will improve.

We have had DownEast Energy deliver oil and propane, and service our boiler for many years. I can depend on them. What's been a little frustrating in the last year or so is getting hold of customer service on the phone if I have questions on billing or other services.
