Adam, Tyler and Drew are the absolute best when it comes to professional demeanor, and efficiency in my car rental needs. They made everything flow effortlessly during my hectic travel schedule, and secured me into a safe and beautiful car to rent for the week. I appreciate these gentlemen here so much. I would highly recommend this Enterprise location.

We booked a premium crossover (7passenger) and picked up a Subaru Ascent Limited. It was a great car. Fit our trip needs perfectly for 4 adults traveling for a week. The price was way cheaper than through the airport and right across the street from the hotel we stayed in the night before we picked up the car. (Comfort Inn Airport, Home2Suites is also close and both have an airport shuttle!). Note: you will have to Uber/Lyft to the airport but still a major savings!!

I had to rent this vehicle while mine was in the body shop for repairs. I informed the body shop when I scheduled the repairs on my vehicle that I would be using it for travel and would like something compatible to my GMC Denali. Much to my surprise when I drop off my truck I get a Hyundai Santa Fe with no navigation, about 1/4 tank of gas, smelled like a rolling ash try because it had been heavily smoked in, despite little round no smoking decal on the dash board, with a very poor attempt to masked the odor, and approx. 45, 000 miles.They also informed me that when they dropped off the vehicle they would charge me the same as a car instead of a SUV but it would still cost me $7.95 per day. I would have been better off spending the $7.95 x 14 days on a cheap root canal.I am glad to see the kinds of cars they have so I am sure to not rent from them when I travel.

Booked my reservation online. Got a confirmation that the car I reserved was ready for pick up. Confirmation said price was 148.55 plus taxes and fees. Total 169.11. no mention of any other hidden fees. I arrive to be have them get me take a truck instead. I say no, I need a 4 door car. Then all of a sudden price increases 300.00. Cash. Up front. I said no and was left with no car. This rental place is downright shady. Do yourself a favor. Go anywhere else. Walking is better then being scammed out of your money for no reason.

We had an amazing experience with John at Enterprise on Westbrook St. in South Portland. We called about an hour after picking up our rental car that smelled very strongly like cigarette smoke and had a tire light that wouldn’t go off. Possible leak. John was very apologetic and told us if we come back we can trade the car. We went back in and not only did he upgrade our vehicle (without us asking him to) but he told us the gas was on them. Of course it wasn’t enterprises fault that the car smelled of smoke (aside from this it was very clean) but it was super nice that he took care of us the way he did and was super kind and professional. Horrible service booked a car through the call center and showed up and no vehicles, obviously I understand things happen and the only guy working was basically like well I was gonna call you just didn’t get a chance yet and there’s 7 people ahead of you so idk what to tell you. So picture this, you’re 2000 miles away from home with no vehicle, you rent a car you get there and get told maybe tomorrow afternoon we might have one available maybe. That’s it like where’s the customer service these days I just don’t understand the employee wasn’t completely rude probably just frustrated which I get but as big of a company as enterprise is they need to get it together

From the phone calls to picking up my rental due to a car accident HORRIBLE customer service. The way these men speak to women rude, disrespectful and degrading. They gave me a free upgrade due to not having a standard size vehicle but charged me for the upgrade. The car was disgusting, smelled like smoke, windows were so bad and less then a half a tank of gas.When I called corporate to speak to someone about this they took my information and said a general manager would call and NOTHING. How professional is this company. They obviously don’t care about their customers. I will never rent a car through Enterprise again.

We had a very normal rental car experience, but the reason for this review is because I left a small purse in the car and didn't realize until after we had dropped the keys back in the after-hours return box. We called first thing the following Monday and they were kind enough to mail my purse to me without charge. Very considerate and made an annoying/stressful mistake much better. Thank you!!

Staff very friendly but overworked. Car windows were dirty and car smelled like smoke so I had to return it for a different car. I'm sure they just lack the personnel to do the typical stellar job.

We received exceptional service from Enterprise once again. We arrived prior to our reservation time. Although we weren't able to get a car immediately, we were called when a car became available still prior to our reservation time. Our checkout was fast, professional & informative. We received our agreement electronically & had a question. We called back & to our pleasant surprise had a real person answer the phone quickly!! Our question was answered immediately & courteously. There was no push to upgrade/add services/coverages, etc. Our car was wonderful! It was clean and full of accessories. We returned our car after hours. The next day we received our emailed receipt and also a phone call to ask if everything was ok with our rental. The ability & desire to establish a positive customer experience was always obvious to us. We will be back!!!

If traveling to Maine from out-of-state I definitely do not recommend this location. We arrived at our scheduled (and confirmed) rental time to find this location closed. Upon calling the corporate number, they advised we could return to the airport to rent there. So we essentially wasted $40 and the first hour of our vacation because of this location. I'd recommend avoiding this location!

The only rental company who would allow me to rent with a debit card and not a credit card. We had a rental through dollar rental, a month in advance. While I was able to reserve it with my debit card, there was no indication I wouldn't qualify because I don't have a credit card. A last minute call to enterprise and they got me set right up with minimum delay. And we were able to continue on our trip despite the who ordeal. About 100 dollars more expensive, but the vehicle was clean and well maintained.

They took my $300 deposit and told me that id more thank likely have it back in 2 days if I return the vehicle the same day. I returned it the same day (4 hours later). And they still have my $300 deposit 6 days later. Hope I never have to rent from enterprise again.

This Enterprise location made the entire process of getting a rental after a car crash very easy. Pick up and drop off went very smoothly. I couldn't help but chuckle that the SUV they gave me had an Ontario license plate and a speedometer that only read in kilometers per hour. I had a rough idea what speed I was driving around town, but never knew for sure!
