EMPLOYEE RECOGNITION: HunterHunter is absolutely fantastic. He went above and beyond for me, more than anyone ever has, in answering my questions about Walgreens Cash, online orders, bag fees (charged $0.20 when I did not request or use any bags at all!), product stock, receipts not printing (only getting digital receipts!). And so many other things. He helped me place pickup orders for a product I was trying to buy where there was only 1 in stock at every Walgreens in the area, even though the sales required purchasing at least 4 in one transaction. Hunter gave me such stellar customer service, I never want to shop at a different Walgreens. He was so sweet, friendly, kind, ENDLESSLY PATIENT, and super professional. Please give this man a raise!!! He deserves it for all he puts up with, and he does this always with a smile and a sense of humor. I see a lot of negative comments on here but my experiences of visiting this store between 2 to 4 times a week, is Consistently I’ve always had great service. While they may not be well staffed I don’t fault the employees For this.Literally everybody that I know that is running a store is having trouble with staffing issues. This is a larger scale problem, Certainly not the fault of the cashier, or the pharmacist. I’m sure they’d love to have extra assistance, as well.Their jobs don’t get any easier.I watched them hustle, containers of Retail goods out onto the sales floor, (There’s always a new holiday to stock for, and to tear down. It seems at these places, as well. ) While simultaneously running back-and-forth to man the registers Or photo area., To ring out sales.That’s the staff doing the best that they can with sometimes zero help,. And with a friendly disposition, always, no less!I commend the people in South Portland on Main St., Walgreens, for always being the reason that I will keep coming back to the store

I really like this place. The staff here are kind , helpful and friendly. My son loves getting toys here. Good deals if you watch for the deals and money back if you get their free rewards card

Changed away from this pharmacy due to their inconvenient hours.Tried their photo service, dropped off my disposable camera, went on vacation, called back 14 days later and it hadn't even been sent out yet! No explanation was given.

I had a very positive experience with the individuals I encountered at the pharmacy. I thought I had booked an appointment for a vaccine, but I somehow I had not. Even though it was at the end of his shift, Shantan was very understanding of my situation and still kindly fit me in.

This is NOT a FedEx drop-off. The employees are untrained and you'll end up leaving without getting your item shipped. I don't know how this location stays open.

Have had a script called in twice to this pharmacy and the automated phone system shows no record over the course of a week. Attempting to call and speak with someone is a farce, as I have presently been on hold for over 40 minutes after being the "third person in queue."

It’s becoming an unsafe situation with this pharmacy because they are not open when they say they are. People need their meds. If you’re not going to open, stop calling and saying meds are ready to pick up. They are closed at regular times during the week. Seriously dangerous, stop taking orders for meds if you can’t fill them or staff the pharmacy.

This is the third time I got to this location only to find my meds not filled, having been prescribed the day before. This walgreens will sell you alcohol 7 days a week but medications that you need, nope. I went in today, Saturday, and was told the pharmacy will be open Tuesday. That's 3 days the pharmacy is closed due to lack of staffing. Try other locations if you can. Not sure why this place stays open. Oh, never mind, they have other stuff to sell you.

Oops! they're closed, but without anyone at the alternate location they point you to made aware of the closure, AND without any mechanism in place for the alternate location to be able to field scripts submitted here. Doc's office had to call the alternate location, wait on hold for 15 minutes just to submit the script, and then wait another hour to get filled. Cool.
