“I reserved my bike online last night and picked it up this morning for the day. The bike was great and the service was helpful and friendly. I hope to return to Bar Harbor and rent from here again. I loved riding the carriage roads and the ride to Acadia from the shop was not difficult. You just have to pay attention to the bike path signs to go the easiest way.”
“We rented 2 e-bikes to explore Acadia National Park. This shop was well organized ( make sure you get there early). We thoroughly enjoyed our 30 mile ride throughout the park following the route suggested by the bicycle shop. Most significantly when we experienced a mechanical problem with the bike en route the shop immediately responded to our call , brought another bike to our location and we were on our way . Great service , great attitude. Highly recommend”

“Highly recommend Southwest Cycle! Great experience renting bikes here for an unforgettable fall ride on the carriage roads. Rented two hybrid bikes that rode super smoothly on the gravel paths. Staff were very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful in picking out the right type/size bikes and recommending routes. Helmets came with the bikes, and staff helped me set up one of their rental bike racks on my car. Also love that I got to avoid the crowds in Bar Harbor! Definitely will be renting here the next time I’m in town :)”
