This review is for the cafe only. Our party of 3 went in for dinner on a Thursday evening in late june 2023. One diner ordered cheeseburger, another ordered the "special" of beef tips, & I ordered the "special" of crab cakes. The cheeseburger itself was fine, but came with a side of bowtie pasta AND potato chips(?). The beef tip entree comprised 5 smallish beef tips, an ice cream scooping of rice, & overbroiled green beans accented with pepper flakes. My crab cakes were 2 panfried lumps of diced peppers, breadcrumbs & worstershire-there was no crab at all! My green beans too were oily, overcooked, &showered with pepper flakes. No one ordered dessert. I noticed other diners received the pasta & chip side with their meals as well; likely the owners' attempt to maximize profit.I left feeling extremely disappointed, cheated & I won't return. In the future, I will patronize other restaurants in the area which are just as nice, offer a wider menu that includes french fries, and serve meals commensurate with their price. You should too.

Cade Dry Dock & Inn was a lovely location to lodge while visiting Acadia National Park. Even better, the restaurant was delicious and the staff is very friendly!

We ate lunch at the cafe - We just happen to be driving by and decided to wonder the shops . We decided on lunch and it was the best lobster roll we had and that made # 7 . We didn’t have to have mayo so did straight butter . Closing for season but they were still attentive

Me and my family were from out of town and went to Cafe Drydock for lunch. The service was great and they were very accommodating since I had my dog with me. They were able to seat us outside. The food was AMAZING, the clam chowder, the blueberry margarita, and blackened chicken sandwhich I had were so delicious. Everyone at our table loved our food. Definitely a great spot!

My wife and I ate at the Cafe for lunch. The service was great and the food was really good. I had the lobster roll which was good sized and great taste. My wife had the cheeseburger which was delicious. The burger was good size and well made with the veggies. The pasta salad was bland though. I had an orish cooffee which was right on the spot. Flavorful and just right to warm you up.

The food was amazing, The baked brie and peach tartletts were simply incredible. Service was horribly slow and lacking.

We stayed at the Drydock Inn and ended up eating at Cafe Drydock all 3 nights due to erratic opening hours of the other restaurants in the town. The food was consistently good and the service attentive, but sometimes a bit challenged due to the full house. The hotel is a unique experience, large comfortable rooms, super creaky floors, and a little noisy until the restaurant downstairs closes. After that it was very quiet. We enjoyed staying on the "Quietside" and not fighting the crowds in Bar Harbor. Note: there's no housekeeping during your stay.

Excellent food and service. Great place for a sit down lobster or seafood dinner.. Ambience okay. Parking no problem. Would definitely return.

Stopped in for lunch after the lighthouse. Had a chicken sandwich with mushrooms and Boursin sauce and it was very good. Pasta salad was outstanding! Great sized portions and very good service! Didn't come up on my search from the lighthouse but very glad we noticed it on the corner! Blueberry soda was the best one we have tried in Maine so far!

Review for “cafe” only. It must be a tourist trap thing based on location and option scarcity, but the prices do not reflect the quality of the food. Both dishes (fish tacos/lobster roll) were served with a very bland pasta salad (think potluck) and potato chips. No fries? The service and atmosphere was fine. We got the impression that the place was a little more upscale based on appearance and price, but that’s not really the case.

We did not stay at the Inn just went to the cafe. We had the clam chowder which was full of clams and had great flavor! The Greek salad was filled with lots of feta cheese, olives and cucumbers and a tasty vinaigrette. The cheeseburger was also cooked as we wanted and hit the spot. The service was attentive and the atmosphere was cosy.
