“Sawyer's Specialties is my go to place for wine and cheese. The wine expert is knowledgeable. The wine selections are extensive and have something for everyone and their price range. Sawyer's cheese selections are also varied and cheese/wine pairing is easy to do. Tasting is allowed and encouraged. If I am having guests for dinner, Sawyer's is the place to start.”

It also has a generous and appealing selection of wine as well as thoughtfully chosen items you might want on vacation but have forgotten, like corkscrews, bottle openers, and oyster knives. Friendly proprietor and a few giftable items too. Stop by!”

“Cool wine store with a nice selection of product. Wine was priced reasonably. I would an average bottle cost $15. We found some really nice wine to try. The inside is arranged very nicely by region and type of wine. Salesperson was friendly. They have a small selection of foods as well like meat, cheese, etc.”
“Great selection and good prices for a small store. Connor is very knowledgeable concerning bourbon and I spent about a half hour talking about that topic. Caitlyn found me a great bottle that is pretty rare. If you are a bourbon drinker this store is a must visit when in Bar Harbor.”
