“One of the coils in our car engine blew out in Maine on the weekend and without tools I could not replace it and the car barely ran with that problem. Dean's shop was the only place on Deer Isle open for mechanical repair work on a Saturday. Other shops/stations only pumped gas that day and even turned us down flat when we asked for their help (it's an easy fix if you have a ratchet wrench). Dean's people helped in a few minutes and didn't charge us anything at all. Great service and helpfulness!”

“I was in Stonington staying at a friend's house (friend was not there). My car began making a sound that apparently was a bad wheel bearing. Every mechanic I called in Stonington was booked for weeks. I called Eaton Oil and they told me to come drop it off and they'd fit it in. When I arrived, I told them I hadn't been able to figure out a way to get back to Stonington (9 miles). The owner came from the back room and offered up his old Yukon for me to drive for the day. I'd never met any of these individuals yet they went above and beyond to help me out. One mechanic shared that he'd work overtime to make sure my vehicle was ready for me to leave the next day on time. Kindness and care and quality work was my experience. Thank you!”
