“My family was renting a cottage during Leo’s ( hurricane) visit to the coast of Maine. We lost power very early and wondered what we will do as the day went on…no power, no heat, no water. I started the search for a hotel/motel that might have a generator. Fortunately, we found Boyce’s motel. The best part of this experience was Barrett Gray, the proprietor. After five phone calls trying to figure out rooms, dog friendly room etc. he still maintained his professionalism, understanding of our predicament, humor, and kindness. We had lobsters, clams, etc that we were unable to cook at the cottage and Barrett offered to cook them for us. What an amazing gift that was for us. The compound where all the rooms and cottages are situated is lovely and surrounded by flowers. The rooms are exactly as presented in the photos, clean, comfortable and they have a refrigerator with ice cold water bottles. Parking is right beside the compound. There is a small sun deck directly across the street with chairs and a beautiful view. I wish we had looked into Boyce’s when we were searching for a short term rental. Boyce’s is perfectly situated in Stonington harbor. Book your stay at Boyce’s. You will have an extraordinary experience.”

“We stayed in Victory Chimes. The view was spectacular, the room was clean and cozy. We loved the electric fireplace. The only complaint was the tv did not work but really wasn’t missed. Great location. Loved all extra touches. We will definitely go back.”
