We bought an LG gas range, but the store didn't offer installation services. That's fine; we paid for our gas company to come install it. The gas company advised us that the stove was defective. LG and Home Depot each told us that the other was responsible for making it right; after weeks of back and forth, we finally got HD to deliver a new range AND agree to reimburse us for the second installation, which was expensive and would have been unnecessary if not for the defective product. The second range is delivered and installed and turns out to have the same defect as the first. HD is willing to refund our purchase, but not pay to have the second defective range disconnected. Of course, we've spent days on the phone dealing with this already and now it looks like we either have to suck it up and keep a defective product or be completely without a range and out several hundred dollars in installation fees. I'm disgusted.

I can not believe I am writing a negative review. But if you are looking for major appliances, do not buy from this big box store. No service, no ownership and no customer service. My son bought a Samsung washer and dryer in January. The dryer has been delivered twice, not working. Contact the store, the reply is “contact the delivery people. Call the delivery people they say contact Samsung. Buy local people, cause this big box store only gives you the run around. The store manager could care less.? Unbelievable.

Tried to ask for help in the paint section. They looked up on the computer and couldn’t find what I was looking for. I tried to ask for the power paint section and was told we didn’t have what you asked for. I said I’m asking for something different. I was told they couldn’t help me. I went to discuss this with my husband and another associate over heard and tried to help. He didn’t even look it up and said they don’t carry it if that is what I was told. He suggested I go Sherman Williams. I finally found what I was looking for and brought it back over to the paint department to show them. I did leave my cart and go to Sherman Williams! Nice suggestion because they actually were helpful!

I went to exchange a propane tank, the outside kiosk was out of order forcing me to go inside where I was met with extreme hostility, I tried to explain that their kiosk was down and I was forced to go inside. I was told that is my problem and to put on a mask or be removed, the greeter told me to freeze and not move..I took one more step to the register where the cashier was very helpful and got me out quickly. when the associate came out to open the propane cage I was threatened by them saying that I need watch out or bad things happen to non maskers. I was then told if I come back I will be trespassed. this is insanity and your employees are terrorists harassing customers because your equipment is not working and forcing people inside the store for no other reason then to be harassed. cannot recommend this home depot.

Normally a great place that doesn't bust your balls about masks. Today they lost close to $2,500 when the appliance guy rudely flipped out over their 6 feet policy. I like home depot, but I'll buy a washer dryer set somewhere else.

We found tile that was on clearance, but didn't have a vehicle that could take it that day so we paid for the tile and they said they would set it aside. The employee gave us a receipt and told us to come back anytime in the next 30 days to pick it up. When we later returned to pick up the tile we had already paid for, they couldn't find it. It is unclear if they resold it or just got rid of the clearance items, but either way the only thing we walked away with was a refund. Very disappointing that their staff are that incompetent.

It's Home Depot. It's the same essentially at any Home Depot in the US. Customer service is hit or miss depending on who's working and how experienced they are. Better to know what you're looking for and research in advance for time efficiency. Always convenient to have Home Depot and Lowe's just a short drive away for home projects and repairs. What we did years ago without them I don't know.

This Home Depot is right off 295 and route 196 in Topsham. The folks are friendly and always willing to lend a hand or answer a question. Quite a bit of other shopping in the area as well, so get your home and garden things at Home Depot and finish the rest of your shopping as well.

This Home Depot seems to have under gone a big change in recent months. There is almost always an employee around to help. If not, the service desk will quickly find one. Most of the employees I see have been there for awhile, but there is a big difference. All of them seem happier, more friendly, and eager to answer questions. Shopping here is a pleasant experience. I usually leave with a smile on my face!

How does this store even stay open. No one is there to assist you or if they are, they have no knowledge or expertise in what you need.

They advertise that they price match + 10%. We went in there with an item that was cheaper at Lowe's and after my husband argued the fact that they aren't backing up their price match, they said they don't do price matching, we left! However, we were in there 2 months ago and dealt with Jeff (the other manager) and he did a price match! The inconsistency sucks HD!

I purchased two doors and some lumber. While I was checking out, I asked for assistance loading. I was assured that someone would be right out to help me. After loading the lumber. I waited 15 minutes and finally loaded the doors with the help of a customer.
