My stepson use to work here and we would go also and look around and there’s a lot of different items to see. From old antiques in there glass case at the register, household items like silverware, plates, cups n pots n pans. Children books, some painting to hang up. Upstairs they have furniture, fans,Xmas decorations, anything really. You should check it out and the prices aren’t bad either oh ya n tons of tools…

Popped in during a break and found some beautiful furniture pieces. Since the store is relocating to Bath at the end of the month, everything was discounted -There was a vast selection of chairs and I fell in love with a camel back sofa that was in pristine condition. There was a beautiful breakfront too which was a bargain at $125!Bathroom sinks, a couple of luxurious round corner mount bathtubs, odds and ends of plumbing and building supplies were plentiful. You never know what you'll find in each Re-Store: dishes and other household items , lamps, mirrors, hardware & tools, vacuums and more! Their furniture rarely has any damage. Some pieces look new while some have some gentle wear and tear but clean!

This place needs to be shut down. Y’all should be ashamed the way you over price and run this place. Not to mention manager saving the best items for himself, that is straight up disgraceful. Head to PORTLAND RESTORE!!!!!!!!

***Warning: These people will call the police on you if they decide they don't like you!!! Doesn't matter if you've been a loyal customer for years! The service here has gone downhill under new management! See the other 1 star reviews! If I could give zero stars I would! I used to love this place but I loathe it now. The customer service is terrible! The items in this store are insanely overpriced for some reason now. And they have closed their public restrooms! If someone drives from far away but can't use the restroom, the items are outrageously expensive and the customer service is terrible...what incentive is there to shop here anymore!?I'll never be back. I like to help people. I like donating to charitable organizations. But they lost a customer forever when they were cruel and heartless and were mean to me simply because I had to use the bathroom before shopping! Terrible people! Fire this staff and get new people who are kind and compassionate and I may consider coming back.Update: The manager actually called the police while I was in my car writing this review! Nightmarish experience! Where is the "humanity" at this store!?

Restore is a wonderful organization with locations throughout the country. We have purchased some priceless treasures and many building materials from Restores in Maine. Our house is blessed with many new and some used items that we were lucky and grateful to have found. We've donated items that we no longer need, as well. It is a wonderful part of Habitat For Humanity that we will always support.

These Restores have become a joke. Their pricing is practically that of buying new, and quite frankly MORE than new prices on many items. They are receiving FREE donations and sticking it to those most in need of affordable home repair items. Very disappointing to say the least. Might want to rethink your business practices.

I love ReStore's mission. Sadly, I won't be back to this location because the people who work here can't agree on pricing to save their lives. And they take that out on their customers. Save yourself some headaches and visit the location in Portland instead.During my last visit, an employee offered me some wood planks for a set price. I asked follow up questions, agreed on the pricing, paid. I drove around to pick up the wood, where 3 (!!) employees confronted me to say it was worth way more than I paid. They told me to stop loading my car, because what I had already taken was worth the value I had paid. I asked to talk to the original employee - they wouldn't let me. I asked for a refund due to their disagreement - no refunds allowed here. They ended up twisting my arm into paying 3x what the first employee asked me to pay. This ordeal took 45 minutes and involved every employee working there. I mean... what is going on here? I'm not up for more of this, so I won't be returning.

I mean…I love this place!! Today we went exploring, and we’re shocked to find a $750 fake marble 80’s coffee table, an $800 basic black accent table and an old record player that I could take home for $1,000!!! This is why we need thrift stores! So that we can get used goods at retail prices! I was so glad this company really understands its clientele! I think thrift customers are shopping with pockets burning $1,000 holes in their pockets!! Shame on you Restore…I shop here to to try to decrease the need for poorly made, low price furniture…but I guess that’s what I can afford. Who knew! Will not be back. I literally heard someone shopping say “next time I have $1,000 we should come to the thrift store!” ?? Positively embarrassing.
