I grew up with Rusty's corner store. So it's been hard over the years see his namesake be a big time gas station when he sold his business after getting sick (RIP Rusty we love you). I really dislike their management as well as the convenience prices when it comes to certain items, BUT all the regular hourly staff I have interacted with are wonderful. I've seen they hired more kitchen staff, which is also wondeful, and they are so friendly and helpful! Anyways - came to leave this review because I really skeptical about the price of ordering their chicken tenders and fries. I was actually talked into the 4 tender/fries/any size drink combo for 11 bucks and some change. And the tenders were great@! Not only were they big tenders they were moist. Looking at the fries I wouldn't have guessed they came out as crispy and *not oil soaked* they were. A pleasant surprise for gas station food and it beat their $9 bacon cheese burger I was going to get! Also - please bring back Frosty's Donuts! Your new kind you've been getting the past few years taste like they come frozen :-(

Over priced is an understatement! I live 3/10s of a mile from the store and it USE TO BE my go to but they literally cannot go more than 3 months without raising the price of everything in the store! Not including their gas that costs more than every where else! If you want 4 chicken tenders expect to pay about $12!!!!! I will no longer be giving my business to them. I’ll go to circle k a mile away where 2 packs of my cigarettes are $11 and the price of everything in the store doesn’t randomly skyrocket

Me and my family knew the original Mr. Rustys at this location when this location was just a shack. The manager is always distracted and never seems very friendly. His staff also seems very distracted and not very focused on the customers. They always seem like they have better things they could be doing. And I don’t know if it’s just me, but I never feeling overwhelming sense of friendliness walking into the door. They always seem more focused on their daily tasks versus their customers. While I understand there is a fine balance. When a person is standing in front of you that person comes first. And that doesn’t seem to happen often in their from what I’ve noticed.

There is nothing you can name they don't have. I only stopped for coffee but ended up with a sandwich because of the overwhelming aroma. Yep it was good, just what I didn't know I needed.

The counter is an alarming, multi-layered array of booze, cigarettes, lottery tickets (gambling) and ultra high-caffeine shots. Almost every vice imagineable is represented. What about some locally-produced foods and crafts, instead?

I really love this Rusty's and am a loyal customer BUT the last 6 months to a year the kitchen food has gone downhill. The Chicken, pizza, burgers and sandwiches. The Hot dogs are still GREAT!!!!!

Better variety of food. You can place an order with the grill for some hot food. Friendly staff.

Two road trips across America equals many pull off the highway to Poedunk PA, or Poedunk Anywhere to swing a loop and follow the arrow until it reaches the dot. I've seen a thousand shelf's of junky foods that seem like ample sustenance in the haze of my tired night driving eyes, but it's important to make a wise gas station stop decision at this moment. Just buy gas, water and coffee and keep driving, nothing ruins a road trip like a case of the runs, slurred speech or paralysis. If only Rusty's Lantern had a national presence, I'd set the controls to continuously scan for this well run business with hot and freshly made grab and go food items. Breakfast items I've partaken in include - biscuits and gravy, ham, steak or my favorite, sausage egg and cheese on an english muffin. Lunch - pepperoni pizza with freshly made crust, not frozen so your not at the mercy of a malfunctioning freezer. The hamburger is not going to blow your American highway palate away, but a fair value and a great fixings bar to trick or out to your likings. I'm sorry to read the poor reviews prior to posting my review, I feel that they are shortsighted and are lashing out on Rusty due to the current price discomforts we across this great land are all feeling the pinch on.

I love Rusty's -- it's my go-to place in the morning for a breakfast sandwich or slice of breakfast pizza, and it's also a great place to fuel up. I know a number of the folks there by name, and I look forward to each time I go.

The quality is the breakfast sandwiches that you offer in the morning has been lacking. I commonly purchase the sandwiches with sausage because you get more meat. The double bacon has about as much meat as the sausage. The sausage patties need to bee cooked longer, and the english muffins need to be a little more toasted. I've been having to put the sausage breakfast sandwiches in my toaster over for a few minutes to make them more enjoyable
