Smitty’s Cinema in Topsham offers a fun and relaxing movie experience with a friendly and attentive staff. Visitors praise the cleanliness of the theater, the perfect size of the screens, and the reasonable prices, especially the $6 tickets on Tuesdays. The service is generally quick and friendly, with staff making efforts to deliver food and drinks efficiently without interrupting the movie. Many appreciate the variety of food options, including gluten-free and vegan choices, which cater to different dietary needs. The arcade room adds extra fun and allows guests to extend their visit after the movie, although some find the arcade prices a bit high and the staff less friendly. The theater atmosphere is laid-back and perfect for a night out, with easy parking and a comfortable setting. However, some reviews mention that certain chairs are uncomfortable or broken, affecting overall comfort, especially for seniors and young children. The staff’s handling of online gift cards and the condition of the floors have also received mixed feedback. Despite minor issues like sticky floors and uncomfortable seats, many feel Smitty’s provides a high-quality, enjoyable experience at a good value. Overall, it is a popular spot for families and moviegoers looking for a friendly environment with good service and a fun atmosphere.

Great theater with a nice little arcade attached. Food is good too. One of the few places to eat a meal and watch a movie.

My kids had a blast here! Lots of crane machines and driving and shooting games, would've loved to see some older arcade games. Only did arcade and had lunch, next time we'll have to add a movie. It's a place you can spend the whole day! Will definitely be back again.
