Never had such a ridiculous conversation as I did when I called there to try to recycle some cardboard. Rude and clearly not interested in actually recycling anything.

Really rude. Called to ask if I could bring household items there since the Brunswick dump is closed. He asked if I pay taxes in Topsham, when I said “no”, he said, “Then that answers your question.” Really?!
