Made an appointment for vaccines. Received confirmation, and a reminder via email and text (the day before). Arrived at the store 10 minutes before the appointment time. When I entered, the pharmacy looked closed. I inquired at the front register and was told that the pharmacy wouldn't be open until 2:00 due to unforeseen circumstances. I get that there may have been a problem, but I live 40 minutes away. They contacted me multiple times about the appointment, but couldn't let me know that they couldn't keep the appointment until I was physically in the store. No consideration for their customers.

The pharmacist was so rude to me about a misunderstanding with my vet that I cried in my car after the interaction. I will never be going back there. I didn’t deserve to be treated that way when I was being kind and polite. If I had been rude, I would totally understand, but I wasn’t. Her combativeness and condescension were supremely inappropriate and shockingly unprofessional. We all have hard days, but you don’t get to take that out on the customers that being nice to you. It wasn’t a big deal and she went off on me like I’d just called her a slur. If you don’t want to be treated like poop over simple fix issues, I’d go elsewhere.

The manager I dealt with this evening while attempting to use the FedEx drop off service was rude, obnoxious, loud, and condescending to me, the CS rep on my phone who was trying to help, and the onlookers in the store.
Walgreens should be ashamed to employ a manager of this caliber in their Topsham store….

I’ve been going to pharmacies for 25+ years and the Topsham Walgreens pharmacy is BY FAR the absolute worst pharmacy I’ve ever had the displeasure of going to. It’s always different people, they aren’t open on weekends, they continuously neglect pending prescriptions regardless of how important the medications are. I’m pretty tolerant, but this has been one thing after another for over a year now. Save yourself the headaches and go to ANY other pharmacy.

I have never met such a rude pharmacist. Apparently other reviewers have had the same experience. I have had the same eye drops for many years. In spite of approval from my insurance company , the pharmacist refused to fill the prescription for the amount requested by my doctor which was pre-approved for coverage by my medical insurer. The pharmacist became extremely combative and argumentative and accused both my husband and me of trying to commit fraud. Fraud is a serious charge which was completely uncalled for and has no basis in reality. Her emotional outburst was very unprofessional. This is the second time she has treated me so rudely. I don’t know why Walgreens would employ such an uncaring and volatile person to provide medications for patients. She certainly doesn’t have the temperament to work with the public. I will say that the other staff have always been very helpful. I have never written a negative review but I really felt I needed to share this experience in hopes that this situation will be rectified.

The pharmacy are very rude,not open on weekends, having attitude with customers, can't even follow instructions from mainecare to put a code in or an override! Then only have half of prescription. Honestly one of the worst pharmacy's I've dealt with I'll be looking for a new one close to home this one clearly don't know how to treat or talk to their customers! Especially ones that have been waiting for 3 days for there medication!

Great staff, always extremely friendly cashiers. Confused about the negative reviews, maybe they have new employees since then because they have always gone above and beyond and are very very nice.

I visited this pharmacy today for my Covid, RSV and flu shots. The hard-working pharmacist and her two assistants saw me at the appointed time and were polite, friendly, and efficient. They don't have an easy job. This was an altogether positive experience for me, different from what reviewers found a year or two ago.

I would like to personally thank Sarah in the pharmacy for ensuring I got my medication on time, I called several times through out the day to check on the situation and Sarah never once made me feel like a burden and got my situation resolved promptly. Thank you so so much!!
