Emily was amazing! I can not express how much I loved working with her. She was so nice, patient and helpful. she spent a lot of her time assisting me with a booking mistake I made. she turned what would have potentially been a very stressful situation into a wonderful vacation. thank you Emily!

Been a gold member with hertz and rented a few times with them never had an issue until today when i met emily muise. She was rude and very racist towards me. She refused to service me and help me with my reservation to where all of my plans in boston were ruined and canceled due to emily. Emily also had the nerve to call me a derogatory name that led me to believe she was racist. Ive. Never ever been treated like this and will never ever rent from hertz again and or go back to the bar harbor airport, due to mrs Emily muise. Thanks emily you made my time in bar harbor and my supposed to be trip to boston very memorable. People like emily shouldn’t be in customer service

Terrible service. We picked up a vehicle for a vacation in Bar Harbor and the vehicle was both smoked in and we experienced mechanical issues. Hertz refused to offer a viable solution to the problem. Go elsewhere if you can

I use these guys every few months, they are really nice and one of the few places still doing one way rentals. The only issue is that they are low staffed so sometimes there is just no one there which can leave you waiting in an empty lobby for 15-20 minutes. Very frustrating when you are on a tight schedule.

They were supposed to leave keys for us once they closed, no keys were left. We were basically stranded after hours when only 1 taxi ran for most of the islandUpdate: they took the taxi fare off our bill and came and picked us up and drove us to the lot to pick up our new car. They made up for stranding us somewhat but the fact remains thay we got stranded....

I’ve never felt the need to leave a review for a car rental place before, but I made a mistake when booking the rental and didn’t realize they closed at 6pm. Showed up the next morning and they didn’t have any cars left, except a cargo van. Emily helped us out and she rented us the van under our original agreement. With how crazy the car rental market is right now, I felt very lucky! And it was a funny story to tell. We enjoyed driving the van around too :)

What an amazing ripoff this location is. Tried to rent a Premium SUV (IE, Chevy Suburban) for a four day rental, and was quoted $2200. A ford Explorer? $1400. I asked them to double check as the prices were so astronomical and they said it's due to it being "a highly popular vehicle". I decided to drive one hour further to Bangor where I got the same vehicle for $760.00 I'm sorry but price gouging to that extent is just blatantly offensive and wrong. Shame on you Hertz.

I booked a Hertz car rental on Priceline and it was awful. They've put a $400 hold on my credit card for 3 days now, and it will probably last another 4-5 days. I rented a car one way, for an 8 hour drive from Laguardia to Bar Harbor 3 days ago. None of their customer service agents could explain the drop off procedure for Bar Harbor airport, nor could they explain why the hold charges won't go away. I will never rent with them again.

Went to rent a car that I seen available wich was the 2020 mustang. have been in the car 2 weeks now love the car and I have to say EMILY helped me get into the car at a great monthly rate and anytime i have questions she is always very helpful.I have rented from Hertz for the past 5 years and never had an employee so nice and actually care to see that I get a great rate for my current and next rental. Employees like Emily are far and few, hopefully the company knows that this type of employee is what you need to keep customers. 100% satisfied with this location and employees!!
