The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals of Hancock County (SPCA) is an independent, nonprofit organization dedicated to the promotion of animal welfare, to the protection, sheltering, and placement of companion animals into responsible, loving homes, to humane education in the community, and to local, state and national animal advocacy. It is a beautiful, clean, and peaceful place where the animals look content and loved. The staff is friendly, informative, and caring, and they prioritize the well-being of the animals. The SPCA is a no-kill shelter that deserves support from the community.

Everyone was kind and compassionate. The facility was clean. You could really tell they tell they whole heartedly love what they do.

What a beautiful place with such a powerful, peaceful energy. So clean and the fur babies look so content and loved. A no-kill shelter that places these precious ones as the highest priority!
