Open to our neighbors in need in Union, Appleton, South Hope, Hope, Searsmont and Washington Maine. Mail Address: PO BOX 524 Union, Maine 04862 for donations. Open 2nd & 4th Wed. 10:00 - 12:00 PM Food Pantry is in the Thompson Community Center, 51 South Union Rd. (Rt 131) in Union. The building complex is a former school building of yellow clapboards and brick. The pantry is located on the back of the buildings and behind the Union Town Office & Fire Department. Recipients need to meet income guidelines as set by TEFAP. The food pantry was founded as a community service project for the Come Spring School, a private school for children with special needs. The school has closed, but the food pantry remains. It is a 501-C3 organization.
