“New Era is a wonderful art gallery that represents many artists who have a tie to Vinalhaven, many of whom live here year round. The artwork is amazing and Elaine has an eye for curating the space. She is also a great painter herself! There is more to the gallery than the showroom on Main Street. Take a look inside and you'll see the gallery continues out back to an old barn where there is a whole other gallery. Every summer there are rotating shows highlighting individual artists. There is always something new to discover here. Definitely worth the trip over from the mainland!”
