What stands out is the manager, who goes out of her way to make sure you're pleased with the inn. That's a personal touch that can make a huge difference. This hotel has a vintage sense of style, and a timeless quality, away from the busyness of the workplace. It's almost as if you've stepped back to a happier, simpler, more delightful world, away from the modern hustle-and-bustle. (Tip: If you're driving to the inn from southern Maine, be sure to stop along the way, at the rest stop with an astonishing view of Mount Katahdin. That almost sets the stage, to better appreciate the natural setting of the Aroostook Hospitality Inn.)”

“The Northeastland Hotel has clearly done a very thoughtful job in its design and services and I was very impressed with my stay! The room I stayed in was very spacious, well decorated and cozy, and it had a style that was not just “big chain hotel,” which was lovely. There is easy parking and the hotel is located right on the Main Street downtown. I loved that they were working hard to promote other regional businesses, activities and tourism. Staying here made me realize I haven’t stayed in a locally owned, historic hotel in a long time and it was refreshing to feel like The Northeastland was truly part of the community!”
