My family went here when I was a kid and its still as calm and friendly as I remember. I called yesterday and they had an opening right away for my cat Larry who was having some urination issues. They were kind, thorough, and easy to speak with. I did not feel overwhelmed or condescended to like I have experienced with other vet places in the past.I would recommend this place to anyone with a furry friend.(Bonus, they have amazing plants in their office)Thank you folks!!!

My cats are no longer going here. They are greedy and always want expensive and unnecessary things done. They also wanted a $100 deposit because of missed appointments lmfaoo no thats not okay and not right. Life happens sometimes.

Forget about if you’re trying to refill a prescription that works for your pet, definitely read the entirety of their website, they will only work with Covetrus which is an absolute rip off. I can get quad tabs for half the price of a single one of their pills. Dr. Gauvin was wonderful, my cat was treated well upon exam.. but I was handed a written prescription and told I needed to request the refill myself because it was with an “outside” pharmacy. Unfortunately THEIR preferred pharmacy does not fill the medication he needs, and Wedgewood requires the provider to call in the medication - which they apparently refuse to do due to “liability.” I started this process with 21 days left on his medication, waited for my appointment, spent well over $700 just for an exam, prescription food and bloodwork (twice) now I’m down to 7 days worth of medication and am going to need to spend another exorbitant amount of money to bring him to an emergency vet and then find a another veterinarian just to fill his medication for his ASTHMA medication which he cannot be without.

Just routine visit with savannah. Everyone is always nice but it would be better if I could see vet on sight.

All the staff are super friendly and treats my pets like their own. They know my dog is nervous around people and they respect that. That go slow with her while doing a good job doing exams on her. If they detect something wrong they go over options to treat the problem. I completely trust Dr rosol and her team with my pets

Greedy! Prices keep going up just for simple shots and a visit. It’s time to go somewhere else that’s more affordable.

I have used the veterinarian in the past and was pleased with the service until they changed their prescription policy in January 2022. A pet owner can only get prescription at their facility or at their "preferred pharmacy" located in Portland and would have to pay a lot more for any heartworm and tick prevention.

If you need to bring your pet to the vet, it's usually for a pretty solemn reason. And sure enough, that's why we were at the vet. Our dog has a terrible fungal infection that needs professional support and care to see her through. We needed a new vet due to relocation and we thought we'd try here. The check up went fine, the vet tech and the vet were empathetic, but that's where human decency ended. In order to pay for the appointment, I tried to give them my CareCredit information, but due to their outdated payment processor, it wouldn't accept. I called CareCredit to gather more information but three separate employees told me that the additional info the office manager was asking for they didn't actually need, and that I shouldnt be calling them, the manager should. So I called back and asked the witch bog monster of a manager if she would call them and she flat out said no. No. There's other emergencies that they have to get to. So I asked if the office manager was elbow deep in animal surgeries, she said yes. So I guess manager is either lying or possibly working outside her scope of practice. At any rate, we argued on the phone for a couple minutes because she refused to call citing she needed to get to the other emergencies - to which I say, carry on arguing with me on the phone and not making that 5 minute call, prolonging you getting back to those emergencies. All the meanwhile my poor friend is crying hysterically in the treatment room over our dog. The witch bog monster wouldn't even go into the treatment room, instead opting to fish paperwork to my friend through the gap of the closed door. Talk about severely lacking empathy. The witch ended up calling CareCredit, but I had enough of the turmoil so I gave her my debit card to pay so I didnt Have to deal with her anymore, which fucks up my budgeting especially because this sickness is expensive in relation to the medication the dog needs and that's why I didnt want to use my debit card in the first place. I needed those funds to fill the script. But this isn't the witch bog monsters problem, which she made abundantly clear. They also told my friend that I'm banned from this office too. All because I refused to accept their no. Cheers mate. We'll find a new vet.

I had been bringing my 2 dogs to Dr rosol for 2 years & first of all got totally wrong diagnosis from her for dusty ,cause I had to remove him & their vet fixed. Him completely they got thousands of dollars from me for 2 years because they said dusty needed to be under anesthesia every time he had his nails cut ,well thats funny, cause his new doctor does it without any & in fact ,he's brought to a dog groomer for baths & they do it !!! When I brought Mt dogs in to see her during covid ,I couldn't go in with them so I really don't know for sure what ,if anything was even being done & that's fine but not once did the doctor herself never came & spoke with me after ,it was always a vet tech that talked to me!! I loved this place when dr.brewster was there ,but dr rosol is one of the worst vets I've ever had & I've had dogs for 40 years!!!!!

Don't waste your time. Received terrible service trying to get a normal checkup for our puppy. We wrote a review to reflect the service we received. Then when trying to make our next appointment was told we "could only be seen if we took our review down".

The only reason I give this a four and not a five is because there are a few gals that cover the front desk sometimes that could take a class in customer service. Other than that, the majority of the people I’ve dealt with there are kind and caring, Dr. Rosol went above and beyond to fit us in when our kitty fell ill and nobody had available appointments. We went from being told at the emergency vet in Scarborough that our bill would be between $6-$7k but that we were “better off putting her down anyway” to a complete recovery two months later and far less $ spent. Will continue to go here even though it’s 30-45 mins away with many other vets in between.
