I thought it was comfortable here. The owner were very pleasant and easy to talk to. Very helpful and accommodating for us. Most of the rooms were great. We stayed here a lot last year and I thank you guys for your help and kindness. We'll be back.

I had a cabin on the northeast end of the property. I was here only one night. I wish I could have stayed longer. The cabin was comfortable and clean. I slept well in the bed. This place isn't new, so there might be a blemish or two. Bathroom and shower were clean and worked well. Bed was clean. I found the cabin well maintained. Front desk was friendly and welcoming. Location was excellent for what I needed. Abundant options to get breakfast within a mile or two.

The owner of this place is a total jerk – his attitude is downright awful, and the motel is just plain terrible. It’s crystal clear that this place is circling the drain. Seriously, do yourself a favor and stay far away.

Absolutely disgusting. Dirt, grime, dust, bugs, stains. Stench odor. If you can name it, they’ve got it here. Horrible. I seriously considered sleeping in my car. By far worst place I’ve ever stayed. PLEASE spend the extra $$ on a nicer place if you can, you will thank yourself. Yes, the cheap price looks enticing, but trust me, it’s NOT worth it.

STAY AWAY! DISGUSTING! Sheets were FILTHY!! Covered in sand, black things ( possibly bed bugs, idk) and the blankets had BLOOD or some funky red ick on them! Bathroom was so ick too! The GROSSEST motel we have EVER stopped at! We spent 20 minutes, looked around and left ( drove two hours back home). Tried to get the owner to at least meet us halfway and refund half our money, NOPE! He YELLED and said " those sheets aren't dirty"! LIES! I took pictures and Im reporting his place to the health inspector! Spend the extra $100 to stay anywhere else! I certainly will next time! YUCK!! DO BETTER TALLWOOD!!

Not sure what these people are talking about who are giving them a not bad review! Literally booked this online looking at piks and location. Got there at 8:45pm after 10hr drive with my fiancé. I opened the door and could not believe what I saw! Not to mention people actually living year round in these rooms. I was chainsaw massacre Steve’s neighbor who clearly lives and shares a room with one other dude. Beer cans pile high ! Pictures speak for them selfs! Seeing the time and being in beginning of august no other hotels had vacancy. I took piks and walked out slept in the car. Waste of $670 I spent for 4 nights ! Needless to say I got a cottage in oob the next day!

Confusion over our reservation was frustrating and was blamed on me. Little option but to pay for the "last remaining," more expensive, room. Way too expensive for what this place is. Very run down property. Pool and BBQs available.Rooms: Building seems barely held together. Moldy bathroom with dripping shower. Gross chemical smell in the room seems to be covering up a worse smell.

Although the location is great and the price is cheap, you get what you pay for… meaning BUGS, SMELLS, and OVERCHARGING on credit card when he saw my adult daughter and her fiancé.Owner tried to charge $300 and when that did not go through they charged $200

Don’t stay here if you value your health. The bed sheet had animal feces on it, as you can see in the pictures. The owner claimed it was chipmunk but that doesn’t make it better. Stay away. I also reported them to the state’s health department. Hopefully they will take it seriously and fix the problem.

Family run, not a luxury hotel, but the price and location are awesome. 10 bike ride to a gorgeous, almost private beach.
