If I have any choice in the matter I will never return to this post office. Unfortunately, I live closer to the Moody Post office and have a PO box there but also have a street address in Wells. At rare times a package may end up at the Wells Post office and they immediately reject it. I can understand the annoyance of this but a call was made and staff agreed to hold the package for me this time. When going to receive the package the clerk orrognally was going to refuse to look for it, stating that whoever called didn't speak to anyone in this building. She looked, the package was there, and she reluctantly gave me the package. I'm not sure I have experienced such horrible customer service in my life, and this was not the first occurance at this location. Due to this treatment I will continue to utilize the Moody Post office despite the challenges as their staff are wonderful.

If I could give them 0 stars I would have. I ordered a few items and both were not delivered due to the USPS. I asked to have the packages put in front of the garage and they said the packages were undeliverable because the carrier/post office were too lazy to deliver the items. When I went to the post office to speak to someone and try to get my package they were dismissive and rude. The staff did not even try to see if the package was there. They just said they couldn't give it to me. This place is very UNHELPFUL AND HAS HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE..

I was told by a very rude employee that this is a resort town and they do not do general deliveries and that if it happens again they will return my mail. I thought this was the United States Post Office that my taxes pay for. We travel the US and NEVER had this happen. Very rude!!!

I have never experienced such RUDE people. Went there 2 days in a row and the first guy was SO PUT OUT that I asked about a package that was not delivered
2nd day, 8:51am says post office is holding package. 10 am I go to pick it up and the lady told me that it was sent back at 9am. WOW... Isn't there a 3 day window to get your packages?? And this why I use FEDEX. NO ATTITUDE!!

They marked my package as “undeliverable” even though they were in my driveway, never attempted to get out and deliver the package or at least ring the doorbell to see if I was home. Which I was. Can only think it’s because it was raining and that’s why they didn’t want to deliver it. Also as they left the driveway, with the ground being soft and soupy, from the rain, they drove half in my yard, leaving a nice rut for me to deal with. Security camera capture the whole thing.

I have had two missing packages within the past week. And both times the employees make you feel like it's your fault. This second time tracking said my package was delivered. It must be an invisible package because I never got it. I've never had this much trouble with this PO!!!

I’ve had multiple frustrating experiences with the Wells, ME post office. The staff is consistently rude and unhelpful. They seem more focused on moving the line quickly than actually addressing any customer concerns. Over the past few weeks, I’ve had two separate packages “lost” at this location, despite them arriving in good condition at the post office. When I inquire, I’m simply told they can’t find my packages and that I need to file a claim with the company I purchased from. This has happened twice in the span of three weeks for the same items, and nothing is being done to resolve the issue. I’m extremely disappointed in the lack of accountability and customer service here.

Package delivered to old address. Tracking says forwarding expired? Used online help it said to call post office. Wells will not answer phone. Called all day long. Nobody will pick up phone!

Most people gave bad reviews .. I think it's one of the best post offices in the area! Been going the for a number years never had any issues at all. Btw most people don't know you can go on USPS and print your label that way you don't have to stand in line just drop and go... I've been selling guitar effects pedals for years now that's the best way ???

Wells Post Office delivery method and explanation1. Unable to deliver = didn't want to/maybe another day2. Front door/Pathway not accessible = didn't wanna walk today3. Unable to deliver - Pickup at carrier facility = didn't want to deliver, but want Amazon to know its not our fault.This is just packages and not the regular mail that 50% of the time ends up in a neighbor's mailbox. Is their business just delivering mail and packages?Would Domino's still be in business if you ordered a pizza and they stated... unable to deliver, but maybe we'll drop it off in the next 2 days.Wells Post Office needs an complete overhaul. I'm sure, like every other business, they have trouble finding people. However, in such chaos, why would people apply! If you can't get the help, maybe state you can't handle the volume. I know its mostly an admin issue, as a poorly run businesses never find good help... they go out of business.

Awful. Just Awful Service. Frequently deliver packages to the wrong address regularly damages packages. rude staff when you try to go rectify the situation. I'm not usually one to say this but pretty much everyone i have ever ncountered that works for the wells post office should just straight up be fired.

Came to the post office (Wells) to get mail that is being held. It’s been more than 30+ minutes waiting with literally no one in line. Staff seems unconcerned. Rang bell to whomever is in the back twice with no response. The employee in front is basically just sitting there doing nothing. I understand that it can be short handed. Staff should be cross trained. Three people here in the same situation. Just waiting, waiting, waiting.. Jack Murray is apparently the manager in the back ignoring all the requests for service. Worse post office ever.
