I am sorry to have to give such a low rating. I finally went in there, only to be un-pleasantly surprised. Very "old school" but not in a good way ?Needs a total re-make, at least inside, and brought up to the times. Not charming, as one would think!Hardly any cheeses !Apparently, it was once a cool place, with interesting characters working there. Things have changed!!

Strange place. Dimly lit. Single disinterested employee. Decent selection of cheeses, pricing was fair. Good stop to grab some snacks and wine on your way up the coast.

Surely the most disgusting place in Wells. It's dark, hot and filthy. With meat left at the bottom the slicer, flies were having lunch!

Love this place! Easy to find, big cheese looks a little rundown outside but inside it is so cool, lots of wine and beer, the sandwiches are fresh and delicious, the own is super kind, don't let the outside stop you from checking this place out, definite hidden gem

One of the most interesting wine shops I have ever been in. Super unassuming building, but we found some real hidden gems wines. The attendant was very pleasant and fun.

"WHATS UP SKIN!?" easily my favorite place to grab some lunch. I don't drink so I apologize to those seeking a review on the wine..but maaaaaan are those sandwiches delicious. Highly recommended if your in the area. (The owner is an absolute riot?, great people at this place)
