P & J Grocery is a small, friendly shop with a good selection of snacks and drinks. It is known for its in-house wood burned signs and helpful owner. Located along Rt. 9, it is one of the few stores available for miles, making it a convenient stop for travelers. The shop also provides a porta-potty, which is helpful as there are few restrooms nearby.
Nice little shop with a good selection of snacks and drinks. This was our first trip between Bangor and Calais, and we didn't know that there's basically nothing in between, including restrooms! Thankfully, P&J Grocery has a porta-potty.

Such a cool little place. All wood burned signs are made in house and the owner is super friendly. If they don't have what you need, they'll find you something else

If you are down east, drivin the airline(Rt.9). A little way passed the Wilderness Lodge(15 mi.) Heading east Is P and J. You will be happy to see it, its one of the only stores for miles and miles.
