Great camp site and super well kept buildings. Amazing staff that are super fun and friendly. They also serve an amazing lunch after and set up a slide show of the rafting. Chris was a great guide as well kept things super fun.

We had a great time rafting on the Kennebec River with Magic Falls! The night before our adventure we stayed at the beautiful, clean, and quiet Dead River Lodge. We rented the Queen room, King room & bunk room - linens were clean and homey (no need to bring pillows / blankets) but remember bring any dinnerware (paper plates, cups, etc). There is a local general store close by (Berrys) that has hot coffee, makes a good breakfast sandwich and other treats (cheese filled hash browns were a hit!). The staff at Magic Falls are friendly & knowledgeable who have been rafting the river for years! We had 2 guides - Dougie & Senior - who made sure we had wet suits and all gear needed to raft! The first part of the trip down river was thrilling - hitting multiple class IV whitewater rapids that our guide expertly navigated us through. The second half of the trip was more leisurely & there was an opportunity to swim! Magic Falls had staff stationed at the exciting points along the river taking pictures that we had the opportunity to buy. We ended the afternoon with a great grilled lunch prepared by staff. We will be back! Thank you Magic Falls!

I went white water rafting on the Kennebec River years ago with some friends and made a memory that will last a lifetime. It's definitely a great experience and I would highly recommend Magic Falls Rafting Co. and it's whitewater rafting to anyone interested in having a lot of fun. Just be sure to hold on to your hats, the handles and wedge your legs and feet in and be ready to grab anyone who can't hold on well who may be launched out of the boats if they hit a tough rapid. :)

Although our rafting trip is in July, the current owner, Dan, has been receptive, attentive, and accommodating in coordinating our upcoming rafting and camping trip. When I recently inquired about using the Groupon, which was purchased years ago, the new owner, Dan, was very efficient and quick to respond to my messages. He assured me he would honor the certificate. Although it was purchased for four people, only three now would be making the rafting trip. To compensate for the fourth person, Dan offered us a free camp site for the night prior and the night of our excursion. How generous and what great customer service! We are so looking forward to experiencing Maine, the campground, and the rafting trip. It has been years in the making and thanks to Dan, it is finally coming to fruition! Thank you, Dan! See you in July!
