I found it a challenge to get a consultation appointment. I called to set-up a meeting, it was cancelled the day prior (which I understand), but I have called back 2x to re-schedule with no word back. This is on top of leaving a message about 6 months ago when I tried the first time with no return call. Based on this, I moved on to different builders (who were easier to meet with).

John Chase is dead and that is a good thing. If you build with them, you get what you deserve. As of February2023 there in a financial mess.

Chase is aweful, which proves by his death. Gross.

Chase worked quickly and around my schedule. They communicated with me nearly everyday what was happening on site, and I couldn't have asked for a smoother process. Extremely happy with the end results.

I cannot speak to the quality of Chase’s work, because we did not get that far, but what I can attest to is their poor communication skills. My husband and I are motivated and ready to build our new home. Within one week of contacting Chase, we had a meeting with them. This was impressive given the current state of the world, so we were excited. We met with them and talked about what they offered, how things worked, what we were looking for, and what the next steps in the process looked like. They advised that within 10-days we would have a “house up in the air” price with a draft of what the home would look like. It took longer than 10 days (but, we are reasonable people and felt this was OK). We finally got the plan, and felt like it was thrown together last minute and not really what we were looking for — we had a lot of follow-up questions (like what were the amount of allowances for the essentials, was the space above the garage going to be finished as we requested, but the floor plan indicated was unfinished, etc) … and we were completely ghosted by Chase for almost two weeks with NO response. Finally, they respond to our agent with some line about how they are “going through some things and are not sure they will be able to work with us!” Uhh, when were you going to tell us that? Hah! Again, they were going to “talk about it and get back to us by the end of the week” … that was several weeks ago & still nothing. Our impression: honest communication is not their strong suit & this was our first and last experience with this company. They presented as being eager to work with new clients — things happen and we understand that, but building a new home is a long and expensive journey, we want partners that are honest and we are comfortable with — that vibe vanished quite quickly at Chase! Potential clients beware …

My wife and I had such a great experience working with Chase. We first spoke to Bill who set us up with an in-person meeting to discuss our desires and wants in a new home. Once he had an idea of what we were looking for, he priced out our home and made sure to keep us within our budget. From there, we met with the entire team during our preconstruction meeting, and they broke down exactly what the process would look like over the next 6-9 months. What impressed us most with Chase is their transparency and responsiveness. They were very clear with us from the beginning that building can be stressful, and sometimes you hit bumps in the road. If we ever called or emailed with a concern/question, the right person got back to us with answers in a timely manner. We have recommended Chase to friends and family, and are now happily living in our own home. We couldn't be happier with our decision to move forward with this company.Services: Floor fitting

Started exploring the idea of building after being outbid on multiple houses on the market. Spoke with the president, Bill Noone about what we want in our home and he was extremely pleasant and helpful. After some thought we have decided to wait until lumber prices go down before we begin with a build, but will definitely be going with Chase whenever that happens.

There is a lot to say about this company. We had a home built 2 years ago now and had a horrible experience with the owner John Chase and some of his crew. To be fair we never had any issues with the subcontractors and the quality for the most part is great. There are some issues that make our home far from perfect. Our biggest issues were awful communication (worse than any other construction company I have worked with), 3-4 projects managers throughout our build (lots of turnover), delays with build, and just plain unprofessional behavior from the owner, as he knew we were dissatisfied with many things.Due to COVID, our 11 month walkthrough was pushed off, which was understandable. At this point we are just waiting for one more task to be finished (my husband has been messaging for an update for weeks with no response) and we can't wait to be done with this company.I'm sure that there have been people that have been satisfied with this company but feel that people need to know that this company is far from perfect and that we wish we would have gone with a different builder.

It started out well with this company. We began working with Bill. He was very pleasant in person, however once we were ready to move forward with the process we couldn't get anyone to answer an email or a phone call despite being told we would receive a call back several times. We went with a different company and are very happy.

HORRIBLE COMPANY. They remodeled an old building into a daycare. I enrolled my son and loved the staff. Unfortunately staff kept dropping like flies due to the owner John Chase and his wife Teri. They had about 50 families enrolled at that daycare. Well out of no where they just closed the business with zero warning. Now in the middle of a pandemic families are scrambling. Childcare isn't a business you can just shut down instantly without serious repercussions. I have also learned this isn't the first daycare venture they have done this too. Shame on you.

Daycare run by this business closed with NO NOTICE. Leaving us and other parents scrambling amid a pandemic to find care for our kids. I'm furious and wish we had been given the decency of at least two weeks notice to find a new daycare.

A few months ago, I called and spoke with the president, William Noone, regarding some interest in modulars. My husband and I had a specific model in mind that we had seen at another company and Bill was extremely friendly and accommodating on the phone and told me he would look into it and give me a call back with some information within a few days. After two weeks or so went by without hearing anything, I called and left him a detailed voicemail asking him to please give me a call, regardless of whether or not they were able to obtain that specific model as we were open to other floor plans. I never heard back and after reading some of the past reviews, I can only assume that our $225k limit was too low for them to consider us as clients. As someone who has worked in sales for over 20 years, I find it highly unprofessional that I was led on during the initial phone conversation and then was never granted a follow up courtesy call. We have since taken our business elsewhere and would advise anyone interested in Chase, not to even bother contacting them unless you don't mind bad business practices and/or have very, VERY deep pockets.
