I have been using Ed's Batteries for years. It is one of the great institutions with amazing customer service. Ed's has been around 50 years. Yesterday afternoon I rode out on my Harley to get a new battery and when I pulled up three workers came out and as I pulled off my seat they went to work. The first thing they did was try to see if a cable was loose, which my negative was, they never try to sell me a battery unless I really need it, however after tightening the cable the battery was still not firing strong enough. So like a Daytona pit stop they went to work and my battery was out, new installed and I paid up all in 5 minutes, and back down the road. I would never buy a battery anywhere else and I hope you all keep this Maine institution alive and well here in Westbrook, Maine!! Thanks men

Buyer beware! They 'say there batteries are warranties for defects. This is false! I purchased a $400+ battery 8 months ago. It was supposed to be warranted for 4 years. It was put into my RV and it has been started every 2 weeks and ran for 20+ minutes each time. It was started about 3 weeks ago and was slow to turn over. Now it is completely dead. After telling me over the phone 2 days ago that they would replace it if it is bad. They refused to stand behind their word. They said I could leave my RV there so they could 'charge' it and check it. They were rude and very unbisness like. They had 3 employees come out and all 3 used belligerent language towards me. Very un professional!@

Couldn't have been in and out faster if it was done by a pit crew. Probably took four times longer to drive from Falmouth to Westbrook than it did to get my new battery. The price was shockingly cheap, beating the prices I had researched of all the auto parts stores, AAA, and even Walmart.Highly recommend!
