40 minutes to return equipment on a former account. The one guy working has zero personality and customer service skills. Finally a very pleasant lady arrived (after lunch break) and had everyone dealt with promptly. Promote her and fire him.

Wrote this review while I waited over 20 minutes for my “reservation” to someone else who was a walk-in. One employee working. When the walk-in left, rather than get a text that my appointment was ready, I saw the employee step outside for smoke ? At least they didn’t cancel my reservation without notifying me like they did at the South Portland store. Peace out Spectrum! Fiber optics are the way of the future. You have no upper hand now that Fidium and GoNetSpeed are in town.

Unfortunately Google doesn't offer to put a review in for the whole company. They price gouge anytime you call its an hour wait the call service staff are very rude. The lady I spoke with rose her voice with me when I said I wanted to cancel my TV streaming service and possibly internet service for another company. She was very hostile when I said I didn't want to hear a bunch of offers on how to make my bill lower for tv streaming I just wanted to cancel it, then refused to give me a supervisor.

Tiffany was very helpful and gave options to enhance our cable service that we were not aware of. Her product knowledge was exceptional and she took time to explain each of our options fully. Great customer service!

My wife and I each bought a new IPhone 15 at the store and were helped throughout the process by Ethan, who made the experience so smooth and efficient. He was extremely helpful and a pleasure to work with.

Had a few challenges getting our new phones and trade-ins completed but calling the Spectrum call center is always helpful and resolved my issue very quickly. Every time I call it takes less than 45 seconds to get a human on the line.

My husband and I were in the westbrook store a couple days ago to switch our phone plans to Spectrum. What an amazing service, we were out of there in less than half hour with our phone numbers ported and activated. Kirby is very knowledgeable, he'd provided us a quick and efficient service. He's highly recommended. Thanks Kirby!

So I just came in to get my stepsons phone fixed on 8/13/23 when I first came in there was a man flipping out and I thought he was just being super rude. Nope not the case. Both workers were super rude one was way worse than the other though… Benjamin Kirby is his name he wouldn’t even give his name to the spectrum support people we were on the phone with at first. So rude refuses to help any of the customers threw a piece of paper at my face told me to figure it out myself did t tell me any information or anything at least the other guy gave me a tiny bit of info rude or not. So arrogant kept fighting with a customer in front of a room full of people. And refused service to a bunch of us this is the second time I’ve had spectrum on the phone tell us we have to go in to the store and again refuses to help us. 10/10 I think everyone should switch providers because clearly spectrum does t care about their customers but especially stay away from the Westbrook Maine spectrum store. Awful customer service they should be fired immediately but we know how it is getting employees so I’m sure they’ll have to deal with it.

This has to be the worst concept ever! The staff are rude and more concerned with chewing their gun like cows, walking away from the customer to get drinks, and hanging out in the back room laughing it up with a store full and a wait list 20 deep. The manager is useless. They can't jump on a computer and help because of commission. They don't get commission on every transaction so the manager should be able to take those. Instead the manager tells people to go to UPS to return devices and says helpful things like "next time make a reservation "

They randomly raise rates ~ during a 12 month period. Expensive and even worse if any stations are added such as weather.

The employee was great and helpful. But having just one employee to serve 25 plus customers is ridiculous. They need a minimum of 2 employees, and should separate TV/internet customers from cellular ones. DMV Is more organized and less stressful. They also should change how walk-ins and apts are taken. As walk-ins will cut others who have been in line for hours or more by scheduling apt while in line. At least this store is better than the sopo location.

You literally must wait around in a queue while clocked-in staff barely come out from the back just to disappear again, leaving one person to manage the long wait list you sign in to. This is another reason why I switched today to Fidium Fiber. Been standing here for 30 minutes waiting to give them back the equipment I'm required to do. I'm calling attention to the convenient way they make people wait, it's as if they hope we will just give up and stay with them. I recommend people avoid the Spectrum brand. Spectrum is no longer the only option in Westbrook.

Title: Deplorable Service and Outrageous Overcharging by Spectrum InternetI am compelled to write this review after suffering through over a year of absolutely abysmal service and unfair practices by Spectrum Internet. I signed up for a plan promising 300 Mbps, but was shockingly provided with speeds averaging a mere 12 Mbps, consistently, in my location in Portland, Maine. This is a mere 4% of the advertised speed, which, in any other industry, would be considered not just misleading, but outright fraudulent.To add insult to injury, when I took my issue to the Spectrum store in Westbrook hoping to resolve this, I was met with a painfully long wait time. Four grueling hours of my day were wasted waiting for a simple router replacement. Four hours for a service that is supposed to ensure convenience, speed, and efficiency.In a stunning display of customer disservice, when I requested compensation for the lackluster internet speed and overall terrible service, I was suggested, with an audacious nonchalance, to simply switch to another provider if I wasn't satisfied. Such a dismissive attitude reflects Spectrum's total disregard for their customers' satisfaction and their failure to deliver on their promises.In a world where high-speed internet is no longer a luxury but a necessity, such service is unacceptable. Spectrum's poor performance, coupled with their outlandish overcharging and lack of accountability, is nothing short of scandalous. Future potential customers: proceed with caution. Spectrum's promise of high-speed internet in Maine is nothing but a hollow echo, a promise made and broken on a daily basis. I cannot recommend their services under any circumstances.

I am absolutely angered and upset by my experience with the customer service at the Westbrook, ME Spectrum. I went there to simply replace a modem, I wanted no other services or upgrades. As I was about to leave the customer service representative said "Oh I just added TV to your internet service and now you are paying 5 dollars less a month." I told him that I don't want TV service, my family and I do not watch TV and i just need internet to work. He insisted that it would be cheaper for me to have this service even if I didn't use the TV. After a bit of disagreement I said ok and then left. I came home to find that my bill actually INCREASED so then I began the long process of trying to get someone from customer service to fix it... what a nightmare. I spoke with three customer service representatives, transferred, hung up on, trying to sell me additional products. WHAT A FRUSTRATING EXPERIENCE. How is this legal that these customer service agents can literally sign you up for services WITHOUT your consent?! I have now wasted hours of my time on this. What a monopoly and what a joke this company is.
