I think you guys are a great place but I don’t think the rooms are big enough for two people because if there are two people you can only have one visitor at a time so I think you guys need a new building and bigger rooms in the new building someday But I love your building

Unfortunately, like other recent reviews, the care here is completely substandard. Extremely poor communication, food not fit for my dog, uncaring and uninterested staff. Lack of attendance at any room or patient was normal, if i didn't go and personally find a nurse, the call bell would not be answered for up to 30-40 minutes. There were no senior staff on duty on the weekends - requests for changes to care or meds went unanswered until MON or TUE. There were a couple of decent, caring staff but by and large it was everyone ticking boxes or just trying to get through their shift with the bare minimum. I expect to complain to state authorities but as one other person said, if you want care for your loved ones, don't send them here.

If you care about your family/friends DO NOT send them to this facility! Unfortunately, once my grandmother left the hospital, she was sent to this rehab place. WHAT A JOKE!When she was finally able to come back home and be in my care, I found out that they had not showered her for the whole week she was there. The staff handled her roughly, she has an awful rash, her hair was all knotted, when she needed help, they did not come to her care, she was place in a tiny room shared with other residents.... the list could go on.... but I'll stop there. Now a days all you people care about are a paycheck rather than your residents!!!!!

My mother was put four people in one small room, the staff took forever to come in her room whenever she fell or needed something that wasn't meds. The staff did not tell our family about a wound on my mother's bottom that was infected so bad that it infected the bone around it. And don't even get me started on the smell and lack of cleanliness of that building, it went away a bit but it always smelt bad. And I don't know why they took so long to realize my mother's breathing was different because she had blood clots in her lungs and only on Monday they sent her to Maine med, and she died Friday night in hospice.

It is quiet with very nice staff! His only real complaint might be the dinners! But he’s spoiled

After several stays at a variety of rehabs, this has been less than stellar. She was only given a corner of a room while the other person had the majority, there was no place and not enough room for visitors and here area was like a closet. She complained about the lack of attention and being bed ridden, didn't have a remote to her TV (and her roomate would use hers and change my Mother's channel). Thankfully, she had to go back to the hospital and now they have "misplaced" all of her belongings. I would not recommend unless you can truly advocate for your loved one and stay on top of things daily.

Visited my dad recently and was so pleased that the situation overall was nothing like Maine Med. By this I mean there was plenty of parking and it was chill. My dad says the food is 1000x better than Maine Med. When I was visiting him he was delivered a hamburger, french fries and jello cake. For breakfast he has grits, scrambled eggs, oj, muffins, etc. He's happy with the food and says it arrives warm, although you don't order your food like Maine Med. You take what's given, but at least it's warm and yummier. All of the nurses and caretakers were super nice and friendly. Everything was clean. Not the newest building but they seem to take good care of it.

My mother received the best, most loving andefficient care at Springbrook that we could have hoped for. When you call, a cheerful person answers the phone. If they promise to call back - they do! The Doctor gave me 45 minutes of his time on the phone to express my concerns about Mom. He addressed every one.Sarah the Head Social Worker is kind and helpful and follows through with every detail.I did not have one frustrating exchange or situation in my mother’s stay there. She left healthy, happy and optimistic. THANK YOU SPRINGBROOK!

We found this center to function as mostly a holding tank. Very little time was spent on any sort of PT or OT. My family member was not given a shower during the several-week stay. The staff rarely came by to check and my family member was seldom given water or anything to drink until I arrived and got it for her. The facility is in need of cleaning and updating. I would not recommend this facility.

The new entry system was very efficient. I used for the first time and took just a few minutes to complete. Future visits will be even quicker!

Springbrook is under funded, under staffed and needs to be shut down.My 87 yr old mother had a total knee replacement. When she left Mercy Hospital she was on the road to recovery. She was sent to Springbrook put in a room with plywood covering the window, when I plugged in her cellphone the outlet was not attached to the wall.If I wasn’t present to advocate for her well-being she would have been neglected. She became dehydrated, lethargic and confused while there. The nurses ignored my concerns and as far as physicians, they were nonexistent. At my request, she was transported to the ER, I’m thankful I listened to my gut, if I hadn’t it may have been fatal.Springbrook is a disgrace and the type of facility that gives skilled nursing/rehab facilities a bad name!!

The C.N.A's working with my grandmother can barley communicate with us at all about anything. They can't put on the items needed on her body that are necessary even PT is concerned. Most have been extremely rude to her on many different occasions. When she asks for something to ease her pain she is told she's already had enough, even though she is cleared for something every 8 hours. She is denied her pain medication when she needs it. Even to go to bathroom she is belittled. Told she just went to the bathroom 20m ago, she doesn't need to go. She is having a overall terrible experience here and I hope and pray they can train people better so patients can have a better experience. Thank you to the people who have been kind but it is very slim. Wouldn't recommend this facility.
