The young technician will find something something wrong with your vehicle. He goes out of his way to fail you and will overcharge to repair. Save your money and time. Get your sticker somewhere else.

It was an ok place after place was closed for 2 hr.lunch i was there only person took 45 minutes for a 5 minute sticker and $52.00 later got sticker.
Was very uncomfortable there.
I am not totally sure I personally would go back again.but guess I should be happy got sticker after it ran out in August.
Pricey for sticker that 99% of places cost $18.95 to do.

New to Maine and the inspection process here. I was failed at a different shop and had a high suspicion they were trying to rip me off, so took my vehicle here right after. Since it's not a full mechanic shop, figured there's less incentive to fail me.
Everything here was straight forward and I passed. It was a fairly quick visit in the afternoon, and so convenient when other places were either booking out for 2 weeks or trying to fail me for an issue that didn't exist.

This location is really busy. The guy that does the inspections is a one man band. Some people have an issue with the wait and the lone inspector guy. I have no problem with planning my day for an hour or so to get a sticker. Most garages have a multi week wait because they are so busy with mechanical repairs. The inspection guy I have never had an issue with him in the 5 plus years I have been a customer at this location. He is always polite and professional to me. And he explains the problem with no bs if there is any issues with my vehicle.

I took my 75 year old mothers 2018 Honda Pilot EX-L with 49k in for inspection after the dealership told her she would need $2,200 worth of brakes and tire work for her next inspection. I took it to the sticker station because they don't actually do repairs there and don't make up $hit.
He only found two things wrong, a high beam headlight was out and a caliper bolt pin missing.
My mother bought the car two years ago and I believe the bolt was missing since she bought the car and the dealership missed it.
I'm so grateful for the thoroughness of the sticker station as a missing caliper bolt could have caused a catastrophic accident. Thank-you so much for ensuring my mothers safety.
Sincerely,
Customer for Life

Really unpleasant person both times I went here, would not complete the inspection. Do not recommend going here if you can avoid it.

“mechanic” broke oil filter cap while doing an oil change. Had to wait overnight for part replacement. He said he would cover half the price of the part, but tried to charge me 50% over the cost of the part. Acted like he couldn’t care less, rude and inattentive the entire time. Terrible customer service.. Stay away.

The technician—there's only ever one—works with expertise and integrity, but wait times are excessive. For example, today I arrived at 8:00, fifth in line. My inspection was completed at 11:30, 3½ hours later.

you wait over an hour to get inspected, they're closed for 2 hour lunch break every day, and then they will find a reason to not inspect you or if they do, charge you for the convenience of denying you

Pulled into the parking lot and the guy says something to us, roll down the window and ask him to repeat it and he just keeps walking. Pull the car to the side of the lot and go inside. Guy tells us to move the car and just points in a direction without saying where he wants it, tells me if we want the car inspected we will have to sit there for over 2 hours and if we leave the car there for him to look at when he gets time he'll let someone else take our spot, otherwise we can just go home. I get the place can get busy, I took that into account. But there is no excuse to be rude to customers the way this guy was when I walked in.
My mechanic warned me after he fixed my car that I bought this year to avoid this place, but everyone else was booked and it was a hail mary final shot, now I understand why he didn't recommend the sticker station. After the interaction I had with this guy there I walked out and left. I would not recommend this place to anybody else!

Brought my car in for an inspection sticker. The attendant was very courteous. I only waited an hour (walk-in) Had a nice time conversing with some nice folks that were there for same. It was a good experience. I will definately be back.

Very thorough and honest. He's not trying to nickle and dime you like most service shops.

If you want a quick and accurate vehicle inspection at a very reasonable price, this is a great place for that. The staff is pretty no-frills but do their job well. If you are coming here for warm and cheerful customer service, go elsewhere. Also, if you are coming last minute, know that when they say that they close at 5pm, they mean it. They won't serve you that day if they can't perform the inspection by closing time.

I've gone to three sticker stations and this one has been my favorite go to. If it wasn't passable for any reason they explained it recommended a good place to get the issue addresses if they couldn't do it in house. Only one I've gone too besides Biddeford that has never treated you like you were dumb for not knowing something. He treats customers with respect and is kind despite the business can't imagine its easy to have to tell people we can't pass your car today. I appreciate the education, rather than being talked down to like I'm a dumb female. I would definitely recommend!
