“We were in Damariscotta for a long weekend and had a tire blow out. AAA came out and put the donut tire on for us. We had to leave the next day and no way could we make the trip on a donut tire. The drive was 350miles. So the next day I went to Don Foshay's. They were great. They had a tire the same size and the service representative said they would fit me in. Within an hour they had it replaced. They told me to stop at another Don Foshay's on the way down to have tire bolts torqued again, which we did. I can not say enough good things about the place. They bailed me out . If you need tires or othere automotive repairs, keep them in mind.”
“JM Automotive is a excellent repair shop they are efficient and got me in there same day got the work done within a hour and I was on my way the wheel bearing was about to go out and I drive a hour back and forth to work so they really saved the day and was reasonable with the price of the work il be going to them any chance I can for all my work and recommend everyone else do the same”

“I needed a wheel bearing done extremely quickly as I was about to drive 4+ hours to move, I got lucky and they happened to have availability the same day I called because a part didn't come in for a car they were working on. I had called over 30 places that day, their prices were super competitive compared to 95% of the places I spoke to. Super helpful and friendly guys. Highly recommend them if you want an honest mechanic and competitive pricing!”

“We've been to Kirkpatrick's a handful of times in the last couple of years and have always had a great experience with them. Their hourly rate for diagnosing and making repairs is much more reasonable than any other mechanic we 've been to for our car. On two occasions that we had work done here, they gave us a price quote that was more than we were budgeting for (which has nothing to do with them, repairs aren't cheap sometimes) but on both occasions they found after-market parts that were less expensive, gave us revised price quotes, and still came in under the quoted price by more than a hundred dollars.
I trust them and don't get the impression that they are taking advantage of the customer's lack of knowledge or price gouging the way so many other mechanics do. They go the extra mile with their work and make sure their customers feel taken care of. I wish more mechanics were like Kirkpatrick's.”
