Josh and Andy reached out to me directly and went above and beyond to make things right. They arranged and are covering the cost for a local shop near me to repair the transmission, which is more than I expected given that it’s been two years since the purchase.
I want to applaud their effort and commitment to standing behind their product. While my initial experience was frustrating, their response has shown integrity and customer service that deserves recognition. This is the type of customer service that is hard to find. I would not hesitate to work with Aplus in the future and would recommend anyone interested in working with them to do the same.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
Purchased a “built” transmission for my Silverado from Andy Lane, after completing a complete restoration of my classic body Silverado I can say with confidence that working with A+ was the worst vendor of the entire project. Transmission was disgusting when I took possession of it covered in grease and oil, broken bolts, and best of all when I finally get it installed and the truck tuned I find out that the truck does not go into gear until the transmission is up to temperature. Even then it slips and will need to be removed for repair. These guys run a sloppy operation and are scammers. Don’t trust them. Paid $6000 for a major disappointment.
