This store has gone completely downhill. There are friendly enough people for the most part who help the customers and find deals but there are a few who RUIN it! Rose I think her (assuming pronouns here, apologies if otherwise) name is, says she’s the manager and if that is true, I hope someone above her sees this.
- the prices and inventory are OUT. OF. CONTROL. Is selling a racist doll for $20+ really best for the stores reputation? I guess for some but to me and my family who shopped here for 3+ years it really sucks seeing that. Is goodwill in control of what goes out or is she (rose?) specifically? That would make sense if so with the looks we got.
- this is goodwill not an “indie” boutique. The prices should reflect that.
- rose is the RUDEST person I have ever had the displeasure of speaking to. Pushed all the blame and responsibility on some blonde woman working then went to the back. Good sign of leadership there? No. No it is not.
- literally saw a cashier crying secretly on my way out after speaking with this woman.
I will not return nor will my family, tribe, or employees. We used to love this store. It was clean, fair prices, and good environment. I’m sure this pricing is a push from goodwill to sell more but in this economy? Greedy. Letting a woman like that run that location? Unconscionable. I urge anyone reading this to move your business away from this store especially but even Goodwill as a whole. All then”Good will” is gone from this sloppy and poorly mismanaged shop. Whoever has to put up with her and this organization day by day are saints.

Went to drop off great quality clothing packed nearly in a bag. Unknowingly, I got to the store at 7:05. They close at 7:00. This lady comes out and starts yelling at me for leaving clothes. She said she wasn't going to take them. Fine. The clothes would be by the door when they open in the morning. No harm, no foul, right? This lady goes crazy. How much harm can it be to have two bags with quality clothing stacked neatly under a rainproof canopy. This lady was so unkind. How in the world could someone respond so negatively to someone giving a great donation? Since we can't be harmed, is she just so upset that they might get stolen?

I’ve been going here consistently once a week for a month and they never have anything new. It’s just the same stuff literally. They put the price tags on the most important part of the items, and just recently, the price tag was put on top of an antique play script and when I removed the tag, it completely ruined the script. It’s common sense. Don’t put the price tag on an area where it will hide the identity of the item or ruin the item.

I went in at 5:04 not knowing donations close at 5 the guy said bring the books in, and we will take care of them. They were so nice. I'm so happy as a former pre-school teacher to pass these children's books, and videos onto more children, and Grandchildren. Praying they all enjoy them, as much as I did reading them. Thank you Goodwill!

Usually I find the employees helpful and pleasant. However, recently when donating the male attendant was gruff and rude. He finally barked out,"Thanks for donating" . Listen, I understand if you don't accept certain vintage items which are not listed on your forbidden to donate list, but don't throw items around and treat me poorly, especially when I enter the store and see a vintage item I donated in your special glass case for $40. You forget yourself, Goodwill. Without your donors, you don't have a business.

I was waiting in line at the Goodwill on a Saturday. I had nothing else to do so I was waiting real good but then they made an announcement. They needed help out at the cashier station. Out of nowhere Missy appeared and took not but a moment to get organized and called the next customer. We had a lovely chat as I purchased my items. I just wished she worked at the Biddeford Goodwill because that's closer to my house and I usually go there. Oh well.

My store attendant Kara K. assisted myself and my friend finding and trying on women's clothing successfully after not finding anything that would fit in Goodwill Auburn. Kara was an amazing ? outstanding store associate because my friend was an odd size. Kara was friendly and patient even though we had to try on many items to find the ones that fit. Thanks to Kara!? I hope that she gets recognized for doing an outstanding job!

Good goodwill. They’re friendly, it’s clean with only a slight thrift store smell. It was fairly busy for midday on a Tuesday. The book selection was meh, as was the furniture. I purchased an LL Bean button down with rad texture in great shape. It was $10 so a little pricey for a thrift but then again goodwill churns a profit as a nonprofit, unlike say Salvation Army or other real nonprofit thrifts. I may come back here next time I’m in the area.

Nice people, half price specials everyday. Everyday there is new inventory.
