“This place is a gem. It is stuck in time in the best possible way. I used to go to the one in biddeford in 2006 timeframe and it still looks exactly the same. We went for their $2 polar express movie tickets and got lunch for our fam of 4. The prices are typical for any restaurant, (except for sodas/seltzers being $5 or $6). The kids meals are $11 and include a drink and cookie.

I was surprised, but the Greek salad was phenomenal. It came out in a nice ceramic bowl, and had huge chunks of feta and a good amount of olives cucumbers etc. my kids love the novelty of ordering and eating while the movie plays so we'll definitely be coming back”

“Intimate venue that is great for performers. First come, first seated - but there are only about 15 rows of seats, so just about every seat has a good view. First row seats are right at the edge of the stage, and there is additional seating in the balcony which offers a great view from above the musicians.”

“Josh Johnson lead me here for a night of laughter and thought provoking fun. I was stoked to come through Portland to see one of my favorite comedians. He did not disappoint. I was most impressed by the fresh routine, not recycled jokes and commentary. We also had the pleasure of being introduced to two other comedians that were just as entertaining and loads of fun. Can't wait to see Josh again, the show was fire.”

“Great experience from beginning to end. Gentleman in the proshop couldn't have been nicer. Starter was great as well. I have worked at golf courses for over 30 years as a starter, proshop attendant, and on the grounds crew in the summer while teaching. I'm always cognizant of pace of play and this was awesome. Played on a packed Friday morning and played in a shade under 4 hours. The course itself was top notch. Fairways were pure and the greens were perfect. I was here from Philadelphia for a wedding and play all over the place down there. The $100 green fees, especially after covid, is not exorbitant. The public course i work at charges $95 and does not have as interesting layout as this one. Really fun and interesting layout here. Kudos to the superintendent. He's doing a fantastic job. As a side note, people who complain about divots are silly. If the golfer doesn't fix em they take a while to heal. That's not the courses problem. I play over 100 times a year. They're everywhere I've played. Myrtle, Pinehurst, even Pebble Beach. It's the rude golfers of this era that is the problem”

“We had our October 2024 wedding at The Inn at Fogg Farm and could not be happier with how it turned out! The barn and grounds are absolutely beautiful and the farmhouse next door was the perfect place for my bridesmaids and I to stay the night before and get ready the morning of! The barn comes pre-decorated with beautiful string lights and long curtains with tie-backs so all we needed to add was table decor! The venue also comes fully furnished with beautiful tables and chairs (unlike many venues), so we really had to do minimal setup for our wedding. We had our wedding food catered by the venue owners (who own the restaurant next door) and guests RAVED about the food! We had a buffet of steak, chicken, ravioli, and late night pretzels with beer cheese. The food was a HUGE hit. The owner and coordinator, Peggy, was super helpful and adaptable to all of our planning needs and wishes for our wedding! I can't speak highly enough about our experience!”

It's a different story now, for many reasons That I will not go into it this time. The leadership there is incredible, welcoming, and more social oriented. They hold many dances, Public dinners, events like poker and bingo To mention but a few. To get an idea of the place drop in on a Monday Night from 4 o'clock on and check out the Bingo operation. There's no drinking while you're playing bingo. But you may have a drink at the bar while you're waiting Everyone there was a volunteer no one gets paid in 42 people had a good time last night. This is just one example of the many things they do. Money raise goes to many causes but one eye, especially like is a scholarship for kids going to trade school. Even if you are not a veteran of a foreign war, if you are related to one, you can join the auxiliary, men or women, Check it out”

It's also such a treat to be able to be downtown in Portland and get creative with photo spots around the venue. “Took my youngest daughter and my grandson and one of her friends. There is something that they all could do they all had a blast. The food and drinks were reasonably priced. I did try calling a few times and nobody answered I end up calling the Massachusetts one to get more information. The bathrooms were disgusting most of the Stalls didn't have toilet paper as well and the place was filthy. But other than that everyone had a good time. But now everybody's sicker than a dog with covid I believe the kids got it from going there. Wish they cleaned and sanitized more.”
