We were recommended Ridge Runner by a friend, and they moved quickly to get Merlin seen and treated.
Unfortunately, Merlin had an aggressive and untreatable form of stomach cancer, but the care and compassion they showed both Merlin and us was amazing, and we will use them for all of our pets' medical needs in the future.

“Dr. Houser is wonderful. She is very kind, knowledgeable, and compassionate. She is always so sweet to my yellow lab, Stella. My cat, Alice, loved her as well. She listens to concerns and gives me options. I was new to the area and am so happy to have found this clinic as I didn't love the first clinic I found. The prices are very reasonable compared to the surrounding clinics. The techs and receptionists are always friendly and prompt with returning phone calls. The clinic was clean as well.”

“We recently brought in our mainecoon cat when he had a sudden life threatening emergency. When we arrived, they took our boy quickly and tried to help him. Sadly, he was experiencing heart failure and nothing was stabilizing him. The vet took the time to explain everything to us and was very honest about possible outcomes. Our boy sadly passed away on his own, but the vet let us into the room with him to be with him as he took his final breaths. When he was gone, they let us use a private room to be with his body as long as we wanted. It was an incredibly difficult death, but the vet explaining everything to us was a blessing. We knew it wasn't our fault thanks to him and he made sure we understood the reality of the situation. They refunded all the costs that would have gone towards testing and let us do a private cremation. Some of the bad reviews here can make this place seem cold and uncaring, but that's just not true. They did everything they could for our cat and were compassionate the whole time. Just because they talk to you about billing doesn't mean they're cruel. They have to do this to prevent people from not paying for treatment if they don't get their desired outcome. Please don't be afraid to go here. Our cat's passing was not their fault and they allowed him to pass naturally with access to oxygen. We got his ashes quickly as well. We're very grateful for how kind and efficient the vet we saw was, even though our boy was too sick to make it. We never felt like they didn't care and it helped during such a horrible emergency.”
