Just purchased my 3rd suburu from Norms used cars. Had the great pleasure of dealing with Carmine. He was very professional and knowledgeable. I’m in love with the 2015 Suburu Forester we just bought. They have an amazing 5 year unlimited miles warranty on the market ?! I definitely recommend them!

Drove all the way to wiscasset , gave the dealer a 3 hour heads up in advance that I was coming. The vehicle wouldn’t even start, had a rotted cross member, and the sales associate didn’t stay to help with any part of the sale. Handed the keys over and said take a look at it and went back inside. Don’t waste your time shopping here

I want to express my great joy with experience at Norm's Used Cars. Carmine went above and beyond to make the transaction go smoothly. The whole time he was pleasant and patient. I live in South Carolina, so this was an out of state sale. He also worked with my son for the test drive and the pick up of the vehicle. I highly recommend this dealership.

Anyone who thinks "The Dealer" is the best place to service a problem with their car has not heard of NORM'S in Wiscasset! These guys are fantastic. Imagine- a real head scratcher issue with your cherished ride... you take it to Norm's and the guys check it out, figure out the problem then schedule a repair (When YOU are available) so that the parts will be on hand. You show up for your appointment and they actually come right out and don't ignore you or act like you are bothering them! Then.. ready for this, they HAVE the parts... fix the car, on time, and for the rough estimate. Thats it! Didn't even steel stuff from your glove box! Seriously, one of the best automotive repair experiences I've had. KUDOS!

I got my '11 Subaru Forester at Norm's in February 2022. Within 3 weeks, the catalytic converter died in the middle of a parking lot. They wouldn't cover it being fixed because it wasn't in the specific part of the engine that their warranty covered. Got it fixed under warranty from Evergreen Subaru. Once that was done, I started having a really rough idle, but no stalling. About 4 months ago, it started my current issues. Oil leak, randomly stalling when I slow to a stop, really rough idling, bad power steering, and clogged sensors. Every time I get something fixed, a new thing pops up. I wish I never went to Norm's. Please do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. Don't get yourself a lemon like mine.

Super kind and helpful group of people working here. While passing through town, we got in a car accident at the intersection nearby, and the wonderful folks let us stay at there office, while we trying to book a rental car. They helped us getting through to local car rental places and taxi services. When find out the taxi service will not take us to the car rental place in time (on a Friday afternoon), a warmhearted gentleman there offered to drive us to the car rental place in the next town.Really warm group of people?

Just bought my third vehicle from NORMS. 1st was a '05 Honda Element, 2nd was a '06 SAAB 9-3 convertible, Yesterday it was an 09 Tacoma. Could not be happier with the sales team, or the service department. Service has always treated me extremely well, to the point I go out of my way to bring my cars from Gardiner to Wiscasset for service.Only disappointment, no haggling on price. Maybe on my next vehicle I will call ahead and ask them to add to the price so I can haggle for a lower price and for the "Classic" used car sales experience.

At first it seemed like a good place. The car had an issue after 6 months and the sales manager was insinuating that I wanted "FREE" labor when I asked for more info on the warranty policy. I found that slightly offensive to say the least. Needless to say it was free since it was a repair that needed to be done to fix a repair done before my son bought the car. This time around my sin brought it down for a brake job. And the broke a brakeline. They fixed as they should. But they also replaced his rotors and I'm not sure they asked him about that all he wanted was his brake pads. I feel they took advantage of a young customer. The service counter is easy to talk to but not sure I trust the wrenches

I bought a Subaru Legacy from them in 2003. Within a month it was throwing a check engine light, and would start sputtering. They took into the shop for no charge for about 30 minutes, said they tore the engine apart, and found nothing wrong. Then they sent me on my way saying nothing is wrong with the car, and cleared the check engine light. Started back up the following week, I called them again and they said nothing was wrong with the car and to stop bugging them about it. I called my regular mechanic, he hooked his computer up to it, asked me a couple of questions. He told he cannot be 100% sure, but he believes based on the computer readings, and the answers I gave (that it did it in wet weather) that more than likely it is the mass airflow sensor. We found a used one, he told me how to put it in, and never charged me a dime. I never had the problem again. If you look at the prices on their website, they are gouging you for used vehicles, even in this market. So you get an overpriced vehicle, and their mechanics have no idea what they are doing. So you are overpaying for a vehicle that may not even work well, because they are incapable of properly checking them out, or fixing them.I am glad some people have gotten lucky with them, and gotten good vehicles, but that is it, luck.

Worst customer service experience I've ever had at dealer. Completely rude to me and my brother the entire time we looking for a vehicle. Will never recommend this place to anyone.
