Georgetown Pottery has been handcrafting fine porcelain pottery since 1972. All of their handmade pottery is made by local Maine potters and hand decorated with their Maine themed brushwork patterns or stunning glazes. In addition to their pottery, their showrooms feature jewelry, crafts, home goods and gifts, from Maine and American artists. Their Woolwich location is also home to their Outlet Barn, which is open May – October on Saturdays only. Customers describe Georgetown Pottery as a must-visit place as part of the Maine adventure, with local artisans and a wealth of interesting and beautiful products to shop. The staff are very knowledgeable and provide excellent customer service. The store's ambience is fantastic, and the pottery is microwave and oven safe. While the in-store items can be pricey, the Outlet Barn offers great bargains and sales.
