I would give them zero stars if I could.
They charge a“document fee”.
They don’t listen to you.
They are a husband and wife team and they don’t communicate with each other .
They are way too pushy.
I came so close to buying a car from them but gave up because of their rudeness.
They offer zero history on the car.
Proceed with caution !
In my 68 years of life I have never been called dishonest or mean spirited.
They did hold the car for a week but 5 days of that was because the owner broke the window switch and wouldn’t sell it until he repaired it. I offered him a $4,000.00 cash deposit but he said that he didn’t want it.
I told them that I was at my camp until Tuesday on two occasions but they said that I was lying! This is because they talk over you when you are trying to tell them something.
They have nothing to worry about as I will never darken their door again!

Just baught a Kia sorento here John was very polite so was his wife he made the purchase very easy. Did the paperwork we drove of in our new car. His cars are very well taken care of clean frames and interiors. Great car body car runs great very happy

bought my '09 Ford Ranger from them back in April. After looking for well over a month for a used, smaller pick up in the 4000-7000$ price range, I settled with Hawk Motors after contacting over a dozen dealerships in the area. They had it priced VERY aggressively, and told me they had several offers within a couple hours of putting up the posting. After a month of getting jerked around by various salesman type people who were trying to give me the ring around, I found the frankness of the husband and wife team at Hawk Motors extremely refreshing. Most of the car salesman in the area would get defensive or even rude if I tried to ask questions about the vehicle or negotiate before showing up. I'm one of those people that does not like the whole "show" when it comes to purchasing, so the whole hawkish salesmanship act is a big turn off. you will not find that here, I found the husband and wife who run the shop to be very straight forward, no nonsense, and accomendating, and couldn't have been more impressed with thier attitude. happy to say the Ford is running great and would recommend hawk motors to anyone in southern Maine.
