“I visited Allie Jewelers as my father recently passed & was a long time customer. I had brought a piece with me to see if there was any information on this particular stone. I immediately was welcomed by Steve Allie who proceeded to tell me he knew my father & liked him very much. It warmed my heart instantly to have this connection to my Dad who specifically said to go to Allie's if I needed anything. Steve spent a fair amount of time speaking with me about my Dad & this particular stone. I got an education yet more than anything I was so very grateful for the time & care he took with me. “why was it so hard to find some magnets in Portsmouth for souvenirs! lol well I finally found one here - A design and size that i actually preferred so im happy to have visited Tugboat alley. I was also able to purchase a souvenir long sleeved shirt. Items are pricey but i feel the quality was good enough. Lots of clothing to choose from but limited small souvenirs. Worth checking out!”

“My friends just got back from Ireland and they're getting married in a few weeks. I wanted to buy them something Irish-themed and this was a great place to go choose a unique gift for them. The shop is small but full of wonderful items and they have an upper floor as well. I found the perfect present. Lynn (sp?) helped us wrap it up in a pretty bag. “Brie and Chris have to be two of the nicest shop owners in Portsmouth. If you want to shop local this holiday you have to stop into Prelude. My husband and I just recently married in Prescott Park. Being from Portsmouth we knew we wanted everything to be local and I knew exactly where to head for my jewelry. When I walked I was greeted with such warmth and hospitality from Brie and Chris. They helped me pick out the perfect matching set made by local artist Julia Jasmin Barrett. They even shared their own incredible wedding story with me and I left with a heartfelt candle they picked out and gifted to me. It is a beautiful store, with beautiful local finds, owned by beautiful soulful people!

“Such a cute store, I wish I could buy everything in it. Sarah was super friendly and welcoming as soon as I walked in. I got a $10 grab bag at the door, opened it outside, then had to go back in for more! Sarah was so sweet and let me open them with her at the front to see what surprise was inside. Maddie was also very nice and friendly. They both gave off such positive energy that matched the whole vibe of the store. I will definitely be back!”

“FANTASTIC SHOP!! I wish I could give this store more than 5⭐️. The variety of products is incredible, the quality is exceptional, and the ownership/employees are amazing and friendly. If you’ve want beautiful beach inspired jewelry, quirky fun socks, delicious smelling candles, potholders, keychains, dish towels, etc then this store has all of that and so so much more. Honestly, It would be easier to list what it does not have. You could spend hours in there and still not get enough time to look at all of the unique and lovely products they sell. The moment you step into this quaint and beautiful shop your eyes are drawn in every direction towards all of the treasures it has throughout. Every time I go to Ogunquit I make sure this is one of my first stops and it is hands down my favorite!! There is something there for everyone so I highly recommend going and exploring this magical store for yourselves and supporting this great small business and lovely owner”
