The best sub in town! Right along the beach, freshly made and very tasty! The staff was very friendly and kind. The portions are big, which we really enjoyed. There is also a convenience store that you can buy pretty much everything, including beer, goodies, gifts and lots of drinks. Thank you to all the staff, 100% recommend this place.

This is a great spot for locals and visitors alike. You can count on delicious coffee, great breakfast sandwiches and satisfying lunch and dinner options. I was excited to see that they added pizza to the offerings this year. And, I can say its great. The renovations look great and the staff are very friendly. I'm always glad when I have time to stop at the General Store, an institution in York.

I stop here 3-5x a week for my morning coffee on my walking route. Great friendly staff, delicious coffee and food! Love the new renovations and the grab and go items are convenient for those in a hurry in the mornings!

Staff speak very little English. Sold us Cold coffee. I asked and received my money back. They need someone on site who knows what they are doing!

Great store with a lot of options and have no issues over the years I've gone there, but this past time we were in the store twice and the cook (who I assume is the owner) was really pleasant and was very eager to help us out. However, there was a different employee (who I assume is the manager) was very rude to us and was also rude to the other employees which was a little off-putting. I love the place it's just a shame that the experience was tarnished with that interaction.

Charming and comforting. It’s a real pleasure to return there every morning to have a coffee before going to the beaches.
The owner and customers are kind and courteous. A stop is necessary if you pass in the area.
