I had to wait till the harness come in as I have on star and it's specific. Mike was a sweetheart all the way through this ordeal. I will certainly go back there they are lovely people to deal with. Thank you so much for everything ❤️ ? ?

Recently upgraded the factory stereo in my vehicle and from start to finish the service has been top notch. Mike and Keisha offered up great solutions to what I wanted and Sean in the back installed it all wonderfully. Couldn't be happier - thanks guys!

Good Morning! A short story about my customer experience at the Brandon location Sat. am. I made the trip from Dauphin in search of a quality tv. Our locally owned music and electronics business is in the process of closing the doors to enjoy retirement. I had checked over Extreme's TV options prior to the visit so i had an idea of what i was looking for. Once i got to the city at 10am i decided to stop at BB just to see what they had on hand. I pulled into a parking stall out front and was making my way to the door( geek squad had doors open and were loading stuff to a van). As i approached the door a guy yelled, " We're Not Open till 11". I thot ...that works for me just fine. I then proceeded to Extreme Electronic where from the moment i stepped inside the door, customer service was top notch. It was my first time at the store and my first impression was...Wow they are ready for business. Well stocked with a great selection of quality products. I was soon greeted by a young lady who truly nailed every aspect of delivering legendary customer service. She was super friendly and took the time to listen to what i was looking for. Even more impressive was her knowledge of the various types of tv's and her suggestions as to what tv should work best for my location setup . In closing the tv and sound bar i left with are a perfect fit in the man cave. The service from the moment i stepped inside that store, to the time i left( the young lady and young gentleman loaded the products into my vehicle) was excellent. Working in a retail environment myself I know it's important to pass on the positives to the management and their team for a job, "Well Done!" Keep up the great work. I will definitely make Extreme Electronics my one stop shop with any other electronic needs. D

I have chosen to revise my review to reflect my updated experience. Initially, I encountered a slight challenge with their customer service. However, it's worth noting that once they effectively refined their communication approach, the overall process became significantly more streamlined. Their response times are notably prompt, and I ultimately received a satisfactory resolution to my query. The product I had ordered, which had been on backorder, was expediently dispatched as soon as it became available, and subsequently, it was delivered to my doorstep within a reasonable timeframe. Packaged within two layers of boxes and presented in a secure and pristine state, devoid of any damageThis improved interaction has left me more inclined to consider returning for future transactions.

In addition I had the pleasure of interacting with Brian who gave some great advice, as well as provide me accurate information on availability/stock!

***DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE***We brought our Honda CRV here to get a command start installed as we trusted in this local business.After the install was completed the vehicle was working as it should but then we started noticing issues. Slowly over time we started losing our heated seats, running lights, blower fan, dash lights etc. After taking it into the Honda dealership we found out that the factory wiring harness was severely damaged due to EXTREME ELECTRONICS installation causing everything electronic to slowly start to fail.Our quote from Honda was $1,200 for a new wiring harness plus 8 hrs labour to replace OR get them to patch it back together at around 8 hrs of labour costing approximately $1,000 AND THE REMOVAL OF THE COMMAND START.After a full day at Honda the vehicle was back together. I then went in person to EXTREME ELECTRONICS to tell them what had happened. I was told that no management was there until the next week but they will definitely be in touch.Two weeks have past with absolutely no word back from anyone, I've resent emails and received nothing back.Absolutely terrible install, terrible management, and terrible customer service.All I wanted was for them to make it right but they obviously show that once you pay the bill they don't care at all about you afterwards.I'm thankful our vehicle works like new again, Thanks to Honda.I'm writing this review to help prevent others from experiencing the same shoddy work that we received.(There's alot more pictures but I don't feel the need to share anymore as the quality of work is all the same)

Usually I don't like to post any reviews but this experience is so unique that I had to share it.On Jan 5th, I was looking for a good pair of ELAC bookshelf speakers. Since these speakers were close to $1000(after taxes), I was hoping I could find them on sale. I'm not sure if it's my luck or a website error but I found a great deal at Extreme Electronics for around $550. I placed the order and then started the wait for delivery. After 2 weeks of no updates and Shopify Order Status change I called the store and was told that those speakers are on backorder. In the meantime I went through some google reviews and saw that was not confident that this order will come through.I called the store almost 6 times and mostly dealt with Ryan Johnson, who very patiently checked the order status. I wasn't sure what to think but around the end of Feb when I called, Ryan told me that he will get back to me with the status. In the evening I got a call from Ryan updating that since I had waited for this long and due to unavoidable circumstances as the speakers were still on backorder I was give a one-time unbelievable choice of getting a $1700 speakers for $700 or a chose $2000 ones for $1000. I was sceptical but Ryan assured me if I chose either options, I will receive my speakers in a weeks time.I paid $150 more to my original price and hoped to see the new and upgraded speakers soon. To my surprise I received the upgraded $700 speakers within a week. I have been thrilled and now every time I listen to music on those speakers, I just feel thankful to Ryan for being honest and keeping his words.Thank you Ryan and the Extreme Electronics team for your commitment in keeping customer experience and satisfaction above everything!!!This is what I expected from a True Canadian Company.

I purchased a big Yamaha amp that was on sales. I did not received it immediately, because stocks were limited. But Ryan was a good help and call me to explain the delay, and 2 options have been proposed. I received my package in good condition, happy with it!

Negative stars for this place. Terrible service. Stay away. They actually require a 50% down payment before they even book an appointment for a remote start install! They will never see another dime from me.

I was shopping online for a Pioneer TS-A2000LD2 subwoofer and ended up at this store's website. They showed a great price and the item showed as in-stock, so I placed an order. The next day, they cancelled my order stating "no inventory". OK, I get that - these things happen. But now, over a week later and they still show the same item at the same price and still show in-stock. I even sent them a note advising them of this but no response and no change on the website?!

1. Does not have all the item in stock even it shows in stock on the website.2. Will not sell you the displayed price, they will use price error excuse to cancel the order.3. Use point 1 and 2 to try sell you another more expensive model.

Bought an AV receiver and cables from Extreme last year during height of COVID. Was told if it didn't work for our purposes we couldn't return right away, but to hold onto everything and return at later date. When we tried to return it earlier this year, we were told quite unapologetically no. The reasons they gave us was the box had been opened, the cables were taken out of the bag, etc. Plus they were quite rude about it. Now we are stuck with $600 worth of equipment we can't use. Not impressed!Response to their response: Yes, we were aware we dragged our feet on trying to return, but it was not our first attempt to do so. We phoned earlier in the year and told we still couldn't return. Then life got in the way for a few months. And in terms of it not being new or unused, how exactly do you try a product out without taking it out of the box or opening the packaging. No effort was made to meet us in the middle, you wouldn't even take the cables back.

I was having problems finding stereo components due to Covid and the disasters in BC so I reached out to the folks in Brandon MB.The staff was so knowledgeable and walked me through exactly what I needed and shipped it out during the busy Christmas rush.All my questions were handled professionally and pictures drawn up and mailed off for proper installation..Can’t say enough on all the help from Ryan and the installation team.Definitely going to deal with them in the future.
